The book captures details of the air combat between pakistan and indian airforces during 1948, 65, & 71 wars. It also covers Arab-Israili wars where Pakistan airforce pilots took part. The book focuses more on selective campaigns, and less on overall aerial warfare strategies.

Details of several aerial engagements is given. Including M.M.Alam shooting down 5 Indian aircraft in less then 60 sec- a world record of highest kills in a minute. And Saif-ul-Azam scoring 1 indian kill and 4 Israili aircraft in 1967- another world record for highest israili kills.

The accounts of dogfights with Russian and Afghan airforces are missing, but the incidents are briefly touched.

The book is written by an ex-airforce pilot which makes it all the more interesting. It is well written, but should have had more detail.
