A good, very broad over-view of how to use various media and methods to create faerie beings and landscapes.
Covers basic watercolor washes and effects,Computer generated art, drawing basic shapes and forms, acrylic paint techniques, pastels and more. While a lot of information is covered it is extremely general. Previous experience may not be necessary to start out with this book, but an existing background would help out especially with drawing/sketching. The illustrations are both beautiful and informative.
I especially appreciate the pages dedicated to each element of a faerie (face, body, wings, clothes).
