And the gang comes together
I love how everyone has gotten together, but it has been a while since I've read some of the books that I can't remember some of the relationships - like the senator running for president whose daughter is Illyana. For the life of me I can't figure out what book she's in. I wish Ms. Silver would pour some type of relationship tree with the book title so I can reread their stories. I do like that she put the reading order of the books at the beginning, but I would love the couples as well, since some of the stories have multiple couples.
I love this group, but there are times it is a bit overwhelming because of so many people. I know Lyon brought his whole crew like Jared, but after the first chapter Jared and the rest were never mentioned again. And I don't think Jared and the rest of Lyon's crew is hanging out with the guys and their wives are having wives are hanging out with the ladies, or are they?

Warning about significant abuse
Hated to say it but I DNF...skimmed a lot but I personally have a really hard time with hard core sexual abuse like our heroine dealt with for 10 yrs. could not get past it. Gave 3 stars because I love this crew and all their wives and drama but may have definite triggers for those affected by abuse hx. Jordan you are still my fav but will skip this one on my rereads

What an outstanding story! First, this book was like putting on your most comfy sweater and sitting in front of a cozy fire... How else do you describe being able to catch up with all of your favorite character friends and laughing at their antics? Then you have the young couple of Jason and Roxy, that meet under the saddest and most troubling of circumstances, but yet still manage to have an amazing love story. And lastly, what can you say about ANY book where Catalina Lyon (Mengele) makes an appearance?!? Every time I think that Jordan Silver can’t find any way to make these characters or story arc any better, she just has to prove me wrong! If you have followed any of Jordan’s books about Lyon, Mancini, Mouth, the SEALS, Creed, Law, etc - then this first installment of “the squad” is not to be missed! Have I mentioned laughing OUT LOUD at Catalina? Lordy, I love that little girl’s “character”!

Extremely interesting
I really like Jordan Silver's books, she is a very talented storyteller. What I don't like is how they just come to a end and you are left hanging, because there is so much time between books finishing the storyline. The romance part is always finished more or less although I would have liked to have had a ending with them at least being engaged and Roxy being able to tell Jason that she was in love with him. Just because she is pregnant doesn't mean she realizes that she is in love. She hadn't totally overcome her ordeal. Hopefully we will see more of their relationship in the next book. I am still waiting for the next book concerning Caitlin, which is another one that didn't end right. If Jordan could start putting out stories that completed a storyline or at least were quicker coming out, it would be a lot better, but knowing that you usually have to go years before this happens makes it harder to want to get invested . I am just giving my options.

3 STARS I want to give 5 but...
I think I have read almost every book Jordan Silver has written. I truly like the over the top alphas and the way she makes me laugh with her wordings and the attitudes she portrays in her characters.I love the way she has intertwined her characters from other stand alone books and created a squad, one force thirty personalities. This book ends in a cliffhanger I'm even okay with that I wish there was a little warning for it, but I'm okay with it.
BUT, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET A PROOF READER.
Although I find Ms. Silver's books entertaining and I keep coming back for more: the mastery of spelling and grammar would be such a nice change. This book for instance has so many errors with past and present tenses, typos, etc. It makes it seem ,almost as though this is the rough draft that had a brief once over.
If Ms. Silver could do a little more editing it would make the flow so much better.

So this is the 1st book on the Squad series but a combination of a few series with of course everyone's favorite book husband Colton Lyon.
I predicted that this book would lead to Jason and Roxy becoming a couple. It was a good read....lots of legacies being told and abilities. It's great to see wonderful people all coming together in one book. And finding out Colton is destined by birth right to be the leader of this organization. But why is he foever having kids?! Man has 9 kids already and now Kat is pregnant again?! Come on! Seriously...birth control not an option? And I'm guessing when they said 2 sets of twins being born...one is Jason amd Roxy's I'm assuming second set is now Colt and Kat.
Of course book ends in a cliffhanger once again. So now the waiting game for the sequel as well as the sequel to Caitlin book. Both can't come soon enough!!!

AMAZING! LOVE LOVe LoVe this book
Jordan you have really outdone yourself with this book! It was brilliant from beginning to end! I am already dying for the next book! Please don’t make me wait long to see what happens next! I am truly blown away by the way you have brought all the characters from your previous books together to create such a masterpiece filled with suspense, action and love! I wish they would make a movie out of this series! You are completely gifted writer and again on pins and needles to read the next book!

Excellent read!! I can’t wait for the next one. Lyon and Catalina are my absolute favorites out of all these beloved characters from past books. This is literally stuff I have never seen or read before taking all these characters from different stories and turning it into an ongoing yet somewhat new storyline and it’s going to be multi generational. As an Black woman I have enjoyed reading all of Jordan Silvers books. With the racial reckoning we have been dealing with as a nation it has lead me to reevaluate many areas of my life including literature. I am happy to see that in this particular book she has given characters of color more prominence in this book. What particularly stood out for me was the Bob Marley lyrics Mengele gave to the senator running for president who is Black. Hope she builds on that.

The Squad is absolutely fantabulous!!!!
OMG, all the OTT possessive alpha males in one setting, it's like Christmas!!!! Plus all those lovely women of theirs, are up to their antics and giving their men a run for their money...lol. I am absolutely enjoying this new series where all these yummy, demanding men come together to form a whole new squad to defeat the evil of this world. I can't wait for the next book in this series and this book is a definite must read!!!

It's all coming together
I upset with myself. I had this book for awhile now and didn't read it until day. I thought this book was about something other than Lyon and his friends. Loved reading about all of them again. I can't wait for the next book. Lots going on in this book. If you read the Lyon series and all the others connected to him, you need to read this one. Would like more with Creed because I loved his book just as much.

The alpha men from various stories come together to form the squad put together by Mancini who tells Lyon that by right he should be sitting at the head and has a year to learn his position where Mancini will step down to take on another role. Jason plays an important role in bringing in someone and finds his woman Roxy who is the person of interest. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish to see if Roxy and Jason get their chance for happiness.

Done it again
Always enjoy Jordan books, but I don't like cliff hangers. I'm left mad as a hornet nest lol. Come on Jordan don't do me like this the second half better be out of world. The Squad, the best of the best
I love the way all my heroes came together. My favorite part is where Catalina is the one they secretly fear and she has so much more to offer. All alphas but they are all willingly giving up their individual power for the greater good. Patiently (not really) waiting for the next book.

Could not put it down!!!!
I Have been waiting for this book to come out and once again it was a page turner. If you have not read the rest 9f this series you will need to do that before reading this to understand what is going on. I am so looking forward to the next book to see what happens.

This book brought so many characters together that I've read from all other books but this one is way up at the top of the list with the Lyons Crew series ( by the way which I read 3 times over 3 years) so I can't wait for the next in this series. Riveting was all I can say.. ❤️ reading your books, keeps me up at night because you can't just start one & put it down until finished..DAnn

What?! Ok, this ending was unexpected and so abrupt. Nothing leading up to the ending just boom. Done. Not sure what I feel about that yet.
My favorite characters, the Lyons, are back. Colton just makes the book better and his little girl, I can’t wait until she grows up and gets her own book.

If you read jordan Silver then you've come across one of those outrageous alphas. Throw in Mengle and how can you not like this book? Yes there are one to many "dafuq's" (however she spelled it 😉) and some grammatical errors but overall the book was a good read. Check it out! Happy reading!🙋🏽♀️
