If you’re traveling down this Alamo Goliad Texas independence route, then this is a must. Another piece of the puzzle that makes it all make sense. Goliad was larger scale and more horrific than the Alamo, but I had never heard of it until this deep dive of Texas statehood I’ve ventured into. Check it out after you’ve checked out Alamo reading, and before San Jacinto reading. Makes it all make sense.
