Painted Faces

Rate this book
The title of this book came to me one Sunday morning while waiting for services to begin. My normal action is to pray before services begin. But the Holy Spirit spoke to me, saying, "Just look at their faces; I mean, really look at them." These are the faces that we choose to wear when we are at church. Everyone dressed in their Sunday best, being polite, speaking to everyone, hugging our brothers and sisters in love. Yet secretly in our hearts we pray that no one will notice the pain, or the disappointment, or the discouragement we all feel at one time or another. This book focuses on the church environment and how we as Christians who have not grown up spiritually think about people and ourselves. For those people who desire to love someone else's life it is a real wake-up call. When you become born again you become a new creature, but your mind stays the same. Hopefully somewhere along the way each reader will find themselves and begin to renew their mind and spirit.
