I like Christine Mansfield's cookbooks, even if they do have the common flaw of having far too many photos, and I don't mean photos of the recipes, but photos of markets and villages. Images like that.
Fire is a lovely book to own. But the Mansfield books are more of a coffee table book than a kitchen stalwart to me.
