A Weekend With Tom
This is the story of Tom, a 16 year old boy who has undiagnosed high functioning autism. He has two obsessions in life; buses, and a girl in his year at school. Tom struggles at school and is bullied on a daily basis, and also has to deal with grieving for his grandfather who was mostly responsible for his upbringing. The tale focusses on a weekend which will change his life forever, with massive changes to his life whilst struggling to deal with the more mundane issues of day to day life that most people take in their stride.
