I checked out this & another stencil book from my list at Barnes & Noble and was a bit disappointed. Really they should be termed kits, not books. There are a few pages of instructions & pictures of the patterns, and then there are just the stencils. While the patterns were super-cool, I would recommend Printing by Hand, by Lena Corwin, which had a section on stenciling too.

There isn't a whole lot to the book part of this book, but I love the ideas and the stencils that come with this book.
