ihaven't read this book yet. however, ihave read a few reviews and exerts. i am the wife in the book atthe time of the shootin. and from the paragraph i read about the shooting, it's lies. Brian Logan has always had his own version of the truth. He lives inhis own world and thinks the world owes him something.

here's part of one of the reviews: It's a convoluted story told by Logan, which involves claims of self-defense by his adoptive father, backturning by his adoptive mother, and a stunning betrayal by his then wife. But it's told convincingly, and while every single book by a professional wrestler must be taken with a grain of salt, it's hard to imagine anyone creating the stories of a level of ongoing harassment by police, bureaucratic nightmares and ultimately a lockdown on his career.

"stunning betrayal by his then wife" are you kidding me? this man physically and mentally tortured my children and myself the entire time he was in our life. i tried repeatedly to get away from him only to be threatened and terrified into staying. Of course after I read his book iwill be writing my own "to set the record straight" book.

and an exert from the book:

Chapter 10 A Shot in the Night Taken from page 274

I crawled down the hall. Dad returned. He had reloaded. He shot again hitting me in the throat. I raced despite great pain to the door. It was locked. When Lisa left, Mom had locked the door behind her. it was a bolt lock that could only be locked from the inside. Dad, who was now a foot away, shot me point blank in the back of the head.

The door was not locked, I left the keys inside. I had to go back in and Brian ran passed me on my way out. I'm quite sure he failed to mention that he also used his mother as a shield while the bullets were flying. What a man. The man who wrote the review might want to look into what kind of lying monster he's defending.

This book was interesting. Unfortunately it was riddled with typographical and grammatical errors. The book itself is about the career of an independent wrestler who was most famous for a stint in Ohio Valley Wrestling and most associated with West Virginia independent wrestling promotions. Without spoiling the autobiography, the subject led a very troubled life both professionally and personally. Most of his relationships, including friendships, professional, romantic and familial seemed to end on bad terms. Many times he appears bitter and blames others for poor outcomes but then forgives them of their transgressions in an insincere manner. He also seems to be very arrogant with an exaggerated opinion of his contributions to the sport of wrestling. Furthermore he appears to have a very dark side with many of his personal recollections being downright scary. This is a book that left me with a very negative opinion of the subject.

My husband's autobiography is finally out! Check it out on Amazon! A small town boy triumphs over a troubling youth, the shooting by his father, and a jail sentence to being the World Champion of the AWA. He had made it to the WWE as Disciple Damien. The book follows him through his relationships and wrestling history. It also includes the history of wrestling in West Virginia, OVW, and WCW. A good book for any wrestling lover or someone who loves to read about people who overcoming the odds!

This is my husband's autobiography due out in December due to waiting on the forward by Jim Cornette of TNA. A must read for anyone who has ever wanted to overcome any obstacle. From being shot by his own dad, to being in prison, and coming back from it all to be the AWA World Heavy Weight Champion. A small town boy who made it to the mat on Raw, Brian Logan has been through hell and back and is still here to tell us his story.
