So, about me. I’ve been writing sensual romance—and some other stuff—for about five years now. What a busy five years it’s been, too. I’ve met a lot of great people along the way.

I’m blind and have been for more than a decade. I don’t go anywhere without my best buddy, Cosmo. He’s my guide dog. Once in a while, he turns up in my stories, incognito, of course. He and I travel when we can via planes and trains; we don’t really care for long car trips. Hmmm…what else? We have a couple of cats that keep us on our toes. They’re good for tons of aggravation and entertainment. I got them for Cosmo, but I don’t think he appreciates them as much as he should.

We love the beach, though we don’t get there as often as we’d like. I live on the Jersey Shore so the only excuse I have for not hitting the sand is that it’s cold and besides that, I can’t drive.

When I’m not writing, I teach blind people how to use adaptive technology so that they can surf the web. I meet plenty of interesting people that way and it keeps me from ever getting complacent. …Not to mention the inspiration for stories that I get. It’s a job that keeps on giving. Actually, I’m not sure it’s really a job; more like a thing I do.

Cosmo likes chunky peanut butter and rawhide bones. I drink way too much coffee—black and strong. I like red wine at night sometimes but he’s a teetotaler. He stays away from alcohol and chocolate these days.

And that’s all I can think of just now. I hope you enjoy the website. Mae’s done some great things with it. I’ll keep writing if you keep reading. Just bear with me if I slow down now and then. Thank you. I really appreciate you stopping by.

Kean is a 37 year old who has gone back to school. Although he's straight he's developed a massive crush on his English prof Richard. He accidentally comes across Richard having an argument with his lover when he's on his job as a cable guy. As Richard is leaving he asks Kean to come to his office. Kean arrives and Richard says he's not going to be his prof anymore but maybe Kean wants something more than English tutoring and gives him his card. Kean shows up despite his nervousness and has the most amazing time ever. There is sort of a subtle D/s vibe going on. I kept expecting Kean to start calling him "sir" at any minute. It's all told from Kean's first person point of view so his nervousness and desire to do well in case Richard gives him the heave-ho comes through. Kind of a different vibe to the story but it was okay, a straight guy finding out he's not so straight as he though.

This was a very sexy short tale about a cable repairman and a professor: opposites attract with a hot BDSM subtext.
