This book was so cute. As a lifelong guinea pig servant (my husband jokes all ours have to do is squeak and I drop whatever I'm doing to run to the fridge and get them tomatoes), I loved the funny guinea pig stories from guinea pig perspectives complete with guinea pig illustrations. 🐹

Humbling Humans through humour.

The Guinea Pigs guide... by Susie Kearley is a refreshing read, compelling in its humour, the reversed point of view, does out some candid and quirky insights into human behaviour. The book affords all pet owners an insight into the possible workings of the mind of their pet animals. The illustrations add novelty and vibrancy into this novel work. The most striking aspect is that this is a book that could be enjoyed by readers across age groups. Without offending or being didactic, Kearley offers some brilliant reflections on human behaviour and our idiosyncrasies. A must read for sure.
