I liked getting some magical LGBTQIA rep in this volume. I also liked gettimg some new characters and mysteries introduced. But more than any other colume so far, this one felt like it was missing connective tissue from the light novel. It felt like maybe some backstory and world building were glossed over.

I really don't know how to feel about this series, I'm 4 volumes in and I can't really decide if I like it or not. The characters are okay but the story Is only really just getting going with a secret being reveled in this volume.... I'll keep going and see how it develops but I'm really on the fence about this one

Still kind of a meh series, but the twist it’s taken is pretty good.

I think there’s potential for a few 4 star volumes (8/10), but that’ll be their ceiling. Dont expect anything outright amazing.

Random fanservice kills any hype it builds up, and is extremely unnecessary.

So Oliver has a secret revenge plot; Pete is having an identity crisis, Nanao is the ball of sunshine that is the center of attention; and everyone else is just kinda there.

Also, is it me or is there's absolutely no foreshadowing in this series? I expect some ambiguity going from one arc to the next but this series doesn't have story arcs. It's like reading a run-on sentence that just goes and goes and goes and goes and suddenly we've gone point A to point F and I have no idea how we got there or how any of these random story beats fit together.
