A Sci-Fi Short Story.The year is 2300, Earth has entered a post-apocalyptic state. No longer safe, mankind is facing the possibility of becoming extinct. The Sovereign, a new world government, was years ahead in planning for a catastrophic event by building a new a tower built on Earth that reaches past the clouds and into the galaxy. Not everyone is welcome into the new world and there are no handouts. The cost to join the others in Tower is high and space is limited.Androm moved with his family to Galaxy Point when he was just a young boy. Each day that passes, Androm’s desire to return to Earth becomes his only interest. He’s miserable in the Tower and has every reason to be. Is it all in his head or is Earth summoning his return?

About the author

Lisa Libby was born in the small town of Rochester, New Hampshire. As a young child she dreamt up adventurous stories, but never wrote them down until her teen years when she began journaling, writing poetry and drawing. A creative teenager, it was only a matter of time before she developed an interest in writing.

After high school she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend college, where she studied and worked in the heart of downtown. The exposure to the city's history, culture, politics, and extensive tales of crime inspired her to write a novel set in the city she adores.

In the Red is her first self-published novel.
