R.D. Brady is the bestselling author of over 60 science-based thrillers, cryptid adventure novels, and mythological conspiracy series that blend real-world science with nonstop action.

With a Ph.D. in Criminology and a professional background in counterterrorism and behavioral science, R.D. brings expert insight to her fast-paced fiction. Her stories are known for featuring fierce female leads, ancient secrets, and cutting-edge research that challenges what we think we know about science, history, and the unknown.

She is best known for the long-running Belial Series, a fan-favorite that explores archaeological mysteries and supernatural revelations—and continues with the high-stakes Belial Rebirth Arc.

R.D. is also the author of The Ancestral Code Series, starting with Hominid, a cryptid-meets-science thriller that reimagines the Bigfoot legend. Her other popular works include the A.L.I.V.E. Series, The Unwelcome Trilogy, and the latest addition, the Shadow Directive series, including Predator Dominion.

Whether it's a global genetic conspiracy, an ancient civilization buried beneath modern myths, or a killer storm trapping a wrongly accused man, R.D.'s books deliver the adrenaline, mystery, and emotional depth that fans of Michael Crichton, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, and James Rollins crave.

When not writing, R.D. teaches martial arts, runs with her dogs, and tends to her garden. Under the pen name Sadie Hobbes, she also writes sharp, fast-paced urban fantasy thrillers.

So what happened to the human liaison?! Lol..did they get him?
Great ending, everybody coming out rosey was my only issue, somebody should have died. Would have made it a little more realistic.

In this last installment, Lyla fights many evils, but her biggest fight is against her own doubts. Is Miles still alive? Has he been broken? Will she ever be able to get him back?

Proxy wraps up the Unwelcome Trilogy in a very satisfying way. Kindness is a strength, one that the Naku cannot understand. But it is that message that weaves its way through the series.

I found myself rooting for Lyla and Miles, both attacking the problem of Miles’ capture from different angles. Though I knew they’d always find each other in the end, the path to get there is not straight, by any means.

There are moments where I’d take a sharp intake of breath, and moments when I’d let it out again. This is another page turner, but at the end, very satisfying. I’ll be recommending this series.

Best written series I've read

(REVIEW by Dirk P de Vries) Absolutely one of the best SF trilogies I have read - and I read a couple hundred books a year in my retirement. Each book can stand alone, with endings that segue smoothly into the next. The plot, characters, events and dialogue are so well developed, that you will be pulled into their lives and the events of the struggle to survive in a post disaster world invaded by aliens.
If you enjoy a book that has not only conflict but characters whom you can get to know as real people, then l unreservedly recommend this series!
Brady brings emotion to a genre often featuring just one action scene after another.

Another amazing Trilogy

Just truly a amazing trilogy I can't wait to be able to read your 4 th book to see how they all came together. R.D. Brady is simply put one of the best authors out there. Knows how to keep you right there on the edges. With what's going to happen next I have read all of his books except the key of Apollo. And of Course the 4 th book of this trilogy. If you enjoy Spence trilling action and a little bit of this could actually happen. It keep you warning to read All the way through I know I could hardly put it down Thanks for putting this out there for the books that you do you are truly in amazing Arthur.

Huzzah

I enjoyed this story arc. I did, however, finding the ending predictable and rushed so I’ll confess I’m a bit disappointed, there. Lots of errors in the last chapter, as if the author just wanted/needed to be DONE. I enjoy Brady’s characters and takes, though, so will be watching for her next publication.

Wonderful Trilogy

The author has an interesting combination of themes - social and environmental commentary with end of the world threats, but never preaching. That's combined with aliens, those not so alien, interesting twists in the story line and a feelgood ending. I binged the books and think this trilogy makes a nice addition to the author's other series. 5 stars!

Love it.

I truly enjoyed the journey the struggle and the rescue.

I would love to know what happened to Meg and her crew. I wished Muriel had survived and in the end found them.

I would have loved if the other faces in the moon actually came and spoke with Layla.

Good paced writting.

Series you can get lost in. No big twists but captivating story line. No extra fluff. I would enjoy a spin off maybe 10 years later.
