When did you last have a feeling that was undeniably intense? Poems capture that intensity by compressing it into words. They then wait for readers to come along to touch them with their minds so they can flower again. I'm not a poet but I do love words. I especially love how they can be used to capture ideas and emotions and then handed on, in prose cages, to sing for others who also love words. The poems here are the story of a life that's of little interest to anyone but me, but the poems might be.
