This book consists of 9 chapters (overall 36 lessons) with various and useful subjects to focus on.
By the time you finish this book, you will have learned present tense, three past tenses (passé composé, recent past and imparfait), imperative and two future tenses.
It also covers all french pronouns: "Y", "en", "COD", "COI", "tonique"and "réfléchis"...
"Le nouveau Taxi!" is a great start for those who want to learn french but there might be a need for a grammar book as a supplementary since its grammar parts sometimes are not explained in detail.

I used this book at school to learn French as my second foreign language. Rather useful. The audio is quite fast, however, and it is a bit ambitious to include a lot of authentic language spoken on the streets of Paris.

The truth is while comparing CLE and HACHETTE I strongly believe that CLE is more useful to learners.but this is a book which should be taught in class and pays attention to all the 4 skills which is its strength point.
