The Stroke of Midnight...

James Crow... Lover of Lust, King of Kink, Flavor of Filth, and Sinner Ella has it all and so much more!
This story hooks you from the start.
Ella, the outside sees her as shy, awkward, and ordinary. Her journal sees her as a vixen needing to break out of her shell.
Ollie, a handsome prince that cracks Ella's shell and sets the vixen free.
Will Sinner Ella get her Prince? You'll have to read the book to find out!

Wow! There's so much heat in this story, it could melt a glass slipper!
James Crow has set the bar high for anyone wanting to do a fairytale re-telling. He has knocked this one out of the park... no the universe.

This story was everything I expected and more. You can never go wrong when you pick up a book by James Crow. This wasn't your typical fare from him, no, this was an example of how truly brilliant and diverse he is as an Author. Ella is a girl on the brink of womanhood. She does what every girl her age does ..she explores, and she's beautifully bold in her exploration. In stumbles Ollie, who tilts her world and suddenly she wants more. She knows he can show her things that she can only dream of. She loves his dominance, and he guides her along a new journey of pleasure where she is his willing victim. I wasn't expecting to laugh so much, but here I was having full belly laughs throughout this read.

The message is true love, and it showed the patience aspect of love. Going too far and yet not far enough. Trusting the rules and respecting the boundaries while breaking all the rules and crossing forbidden boundaries. This retelling is the definition of perfection where love, laughter, sex, and debauchery meet. They play amongst each other while drawing you into their wicked tale. Add to this, the ultimate BFF that has no inhibitions and eggs you on to commit so much kinky fuckery that you're delirious with need. The bottom line, this is the rabbit hole of books that everyone needs to fall down and get lost. Well done James Crow.

So in the midst of a Pandemic comes a sexy as hell alternative fairy tale featuring gorgeous sweet as honey Sinner Ella and her rampant possibly dark Prince Charming. In these dark days we need the Word Master, King of Erotica to transport us to a more sexy gorgeous world of his take on fairytales. Once more he weaves his intoxicating web with his unique filthy take on an old age story. Filth and fairytales merge in a wonderful five star mix

Such a deliciously naughty re-telling of a classic. Ella is your typical sweet soul with a not so typical wickedly naughty side. The latter is brought to the forefront when she meets Ollie, her devilishly handsome and soon to be step brother. In his usual James Crow style, you will be swept away by his scintillating words and left wanting more!

Oh first can I say the cover is just eye catching... The blue reminds me of staring in my lovers eyes.. looking at Ella in her dress wondering if she will get her prince... Right there wanted me to open the book and start.. so here goes my review. When I read a James Crow book I never know what I will get.
Each book is so brilliant and yet so different... I want to dive in. Knowing James this book was going to be much different from any other cinderella fairy tale...😱. So our dear Ella has a dad, a soon to be stepmom and stepbrother she thinks is oh so dreamy, but he is... Much older. Let's just say lots of chemistry... This chemistry is hot, sexy, and so dirty. No spoilers sorry.. Ella oh I forgot is also trying to get ready for a ball.. then a twist, a beatie, peacocks, and the beat ending ever... So this book will have you from start to finish. I could not read it fast enough then I wanted to read again. Oh James you can write.

James Crow has given fans of the age-old fairy tale Cinderella, the best, kinkiest, and sensual retelling with Sinner Ella. I really enjoyed the story and couldn't put this book down.
Out with the ugly step-sisters and bring on the sexy step-brother Oliver.
Will Oliver help Ella find and own her sexuality?
Or will Ella lend up with just a glass slipper?
So if you love the retelling of fairy tales, I recommend you pick up a copy today to see what happened to Ella. Will she be a sinner, bell of the ball, or both?
I was given an ARC to read in exchange for an honest review.

Will I ever see the beautiful, blonde, Cinderella in her blue, flowing, gauzy, sparking dress in the same light after reading this book? Or her handsome, twinkly-eyed Prince Charming. NO! NEVER! This author has wrecked me for that! Oh, we have the same characters, but personalities so different that I think I am in the middle of “sex on a magic wand”, because that is what happened. James Crow waved his magic wand of provocative and sinful words and took us away from the charming and wonderful land of fairy tales and dropped us into the world of seduction and arousal.

Almost eighteen-year-old Ella Stevens’ (Cinderella) three most important life issues are—her upcoming birthday (no boyfriend and no party), upcoming prom (no date) upcoming school year-end (father expects her to get a job), until her father brings home a woman, (the wicked step-mother) an old, cackling, crone. And rather than two ugly step-sisters, this old bat of a hag brings a handsome son, and all of a sudden, Ella’s problems are unimportant, because her Prince Charming, Oliver has appeared. And guess what—his ride is a smooth Bentley instead of a majestic equine beast. He bedazzles Ella; he tantalizes her; he makes her think of all the naughty things she has only tried on herself at the urging of her best friend, Robyn, (the fairy godmother perhaps???) who seems to have already taken that plunge into womanhood. We read how Ollie entices Ella to meet with him, how he teases her, making her wait till she reaches that magic age of consent. And when that happens, her world explodes.

This is my first book by James Crow and I am fascinated. I can't believe that I have been reading "romance" books for the past four years and have never read him. Where has he been hiding? Probably in the woods with Oliver! James Crow has taken a child’s fairy tale and turned it into a scintillating, tantalizing, enticing, adult fantasy, but with so much humour that the reader will be laughing out loud. I like that the story is told in the voice of an 18-year-old using words like ‘Jeez Louise’, ‘wowee’, ‘oh poop’, ‘sneaky creep’, and ‘foof’, that would be typical of this still-innocent teenager. Thank goodness she has her bestie, Rob, egging her on, and then the proverbial devil and chicken, acting as her evil and good consciences, sitting on her shoulder, each trying to kick the other off.

The author’s writing is so addictive. He binds the reader in a magical spell as his characters come to life and immerse us in the story. The seductive scenes are oh so hot, I had to keep a pitcher of water handy just in case my ebook burst into flames. The dialogue is the seller for me. I like snappy chatter and this book easily won the gold medal for that. Clever and teasing chit-chat, twisted words, but also poetic phrasing, keeping me on the edge of my seat. And his characters all have a face of their own; Ella, so innocent; Rob, so brassy; Ollie, so experienced; and of course the ugly step-mother and besotted father.

So folks, although there is no dazzling coach with elegant and prancing horses, magically produced from a pumpkin and wee mice, this modern fairy tale, will whisk you away to a land full of lust, passion, and stimulating fun.

Per the author, this novel is supposed to be a “light, LOL sexy story.” Ella is a 17-year-old female that longs for romance and to lose her virginity on the night of her 18th birthday. She thinks she has found the perfect partner in her new stepbrother, Ollie. Will he make all of her dreams and erotic dreams come true?

This novel was not for me. After reading the reviews several times I felt I was reading a different story. The humor and sexiness missed me. I found myself skimming and then eventually skipping several chapters of the novel to get to the end. In the first chapter, Ella’s dad informs her that he is marrying one of his clients, therefore his new wife and her adult son will be moving into their home. Ella has never met these people and she refers to her stepmother as “Cruella” and indicates “Cruella” is too old for her father. However, since Ollie is “hot” and willing to cook dinner so Ella does not have to, she is okay with them moving in the first night she meets them. I had a difficult time with this concept since there was no build-up to it. The characters appear to be stereotypes: Ella is the lustful virgin, her best friend Robyn is the sexpot, and Ollie is the sexy older man that is going to whisk Ella away from this.

I expected the story to be dark and borderline sinister, however, I felt it was a novel version of “American Pie” with all of the masturbation and juvenile flirting. The novel did end on a HEA. I recommend this novel if you want to read something that will remind you of your adolescence with minimal plot. If you are squeamish about high school students engaging in amorous behaviors with someone in their 20s, this novel is not for you.

Can’t even tell you how much I loved this story! Ella and Ollie are such a dynamic, yet forbidden couple! Ella is a young girl who has taken care of her father her whole life. One day he comes home with a woman he will marry, and along comes her son, Ollie. Ella is instantly smitten and is determined to make him hers, but does Ollie feel the same?

There is just so much to love about these characters. Ella is a funny, breath of fresh air and knows what she wants out of life. Ollie may be older, but there is something about Ella that draws him to her. I also love when there is a best friend in the mix, and Robyn is the perfect mix! She made me laugh so many times. And she just adores Ella and only wants good things for her.

I literally read this book in one sitting as it held me captive from the very beginning to the very end. It’s delightful, it’s sexy, it’s funny, it’s refreshing and I loved everything about it. I can’t stress enough how much everyone needs to read this. Absolutely brilliant!

James Crow has become the master at retelling these beloved fairytales. I absolutely, completely and most definitely loved this story. It literally took me 2 hours to read, I couldn’t stop even if I tried.

Ella is normal teenager, curious and exploring her sexuality. Then one day she walks in to find her dad is getting remarried and she has a new stepbrother. But Ollie is no ordinary guy, he is amazing and Ella wants everything from him.
I love his dominance and the sexy notes back and forth. Of course the absolute naughtiest, kinky and forbidden sex leaves you shaking. It’s so incredibly good.

The love story between these two characters is absolutely amazing , I really could not get enough. Bravo James Crow !!

Sinner Ella

This a great story. It is a retelling of Cinderella. And in James Crow fashion it has also the steam. It's the story of Ella who has to do all of the housework for her dad. Then her dad meets the soon to be wicked step mother. But she also brings her hot son with her. Ollie teaches Ella things she only thought about, wink, wink! That's where she becomes Sinner Ella. Another 5 star read from James Crow!! You will definitely need a cold shower after this one🔥🔥
