About the author

Peach-Pit (ピーチ・ピット Pīchi Pitto) is a female manga artist duo in Japan, made up of Banri Sendo (千道 万里 Sendō Banri) and Shibuko Ebara (えばら 渋子 Ebara Shibuko). Their group name derives from the diner hangout Peach-Pit from the TV show Beverly Hills, 90210. Although both have similar styles, with some artwork it is possible to identify which artist drew it. Both are known for their bishōjo styled works. As noted in their books, they are both Geminis and have "Almost flushed our phones down the toilet...twice."

The two of them grew up together and went to the same elementary school and have been best friends ever since. Both started as doujinshi manga artists, but not as Peach-Pit. Then they were scouted by Dengeki Comic Gao!. In 2008, one of their manga, Shugo Chara!, was awarded the Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga. Shugo Chara was also turned later into an Anime television series.

El tercer tomo del manga de Rozen Maiden, y el primer tomo de manga que me leo este año, y la verdad es que me dejó con un buen sabor de boca, una gran diferencia a los anteriores de este mismo manga.
Los dos primeros tomos de Rozen Maiden me habían llevado a la misma conclusión: una historia con mucho potencial y estéticamente muy hermosa, pero que sentía que faltaba un poco de fuerza narrativa. Este tomo consiguió un poco de la fuerza narrativa que esperaba de los anteriores. Con escenas de más acción, tensión e incluso momentos de peso sentimental que supieron equilibrarse bien. La relación entre Jun y Shinku se desarrollo mejor en este tomo, al final pudimos ver más roces y a la vez pudimos mostrar a Jun como un personaje menos insoportable que en los anteriores volúmenes, algo que se agradece para hacer más amena la lectura. Por otro lado, la incorporación del personaje de Suiseiseki no se sintió pesada, se incorporó con un personaje más, sus dinámicas con Jun ayudaron mucho. Creo que lo mejor del volumen empieza a la mitad, y de ahí toma una fuerza muy disfrutable. Un punto es introducido en este tomo acerca de la perfección contra la imperfección, lo que es muy indicado para toda la trama de la muñeca perfecta que guía a las muñecas de Rozen a pelear entre ellas.
En resumidas cuentas, este tercer volumen me dejó impresionado, aunque claro, no tenía demasiadas expectativas. Lo único que espero es que los siguientes tomos se sigan manteniendo en la línea de este.
