This story was very vivid and colorful. It was lively and engaging. The excitement really drew me in and it was all about a young boy stopping at nothing to buy a camera to take pictures of the howler monkeys. He had come from a poor family and worked every day at the market to save up money and once he had enough money, he purchased one and went deep into the forest to find those monkeys. He found them and you'll have to find out what happens next.

This was too long for my young crowd today, probably the youngest would be PreK and probably better for elementary.

One of my favorite monkey/camera stories. 8/15/12

Used in PJ Story Time, but was a bit much for most of them. 7/31/13

Used in story time, but a bit much for the day care, so we did action participation stories for the other 2 books...
