Alexandra Mountspear has some problems; she’s out of gold, and the goblins she was supposed to be handling ended up handling her instead.

Filthy is not an exaggeration.
I like smut, and fantasy, and adventuring tales, so this seemed like it could be a fun read.
First impressions on the cover: that armor is going to chafe in all the wrong places.
First impressions on reading: the heroine really, really likes being chafed. A lot. In every feasible way, and using bodily fluids as lotion.
As far as fantasy goes, the plot is present but light - a one-shot module.
From the seXXX aspect? Way hotter than 50 Shades, as well as other smut that I've read. Single, three way, group, shifter, fantasy bestiality in the form of a kilted minotaur? All of the above, with great enthusiasm, to procure the best armor ever.
This is not high fantasy, classic literature, or the like. It won't be discussed in book clubs, and definitely won't make Oprah's list. But for an hour's quick read when it's just too obvious to actually watch pron? It does nicely.
An example of the writing, most of which was too delightfully profane to use as an example:
"To be honest, being on her knees between the legs of a boy she’d just met was pretty high on the list of ways Alexandra imagined the night going. But being surrounded by a room filled with horny students at a wizard's school, cheering and egging her on? That was something new for the adventurer, despite her many sexual escapades."

Perfect reading for holiday, smut at its best. Alexandra and her tits charmed me, the end of the review.

I needed a palate cleanser after the back to back bad book choices I've been picking up, so I chose erotica. So long as the smut is decent, erotica is typically good enough to sit and mindlessly read. At least to me.
I found this tale both funny, lighthearted, and some of the smut scenes steamy enough to thoroughly enjoy the short tale. Do not come to this book expecting romance. This isn't that kinda erotica. This is smut in its pure raw form, with a hint of story mixed in. Every other chapter had smut, and the chapters in between call back to it at some point while world building around the main character. I mean, the synopsis should be clear enough to know this, but as a forewarning.
Also, do not expect some eloquently written LitRPG adventure - there are several spelling mistakes, as well as detail mistakes in the book I noted. At one point the author forgot the name of her own FMC and wrote another name instead. Nor was the name of the main city spelled the same multiple times - I'm unsure how it's truly supposed to be spelled now. I could continue to list the mistakes, but I won't. Bottom line, this could have stood a thorough editing before publishing. Which is why I knocked off stars.
Beyond those mistakes, I enjoyed Serena's world building. All the rich details about the city's districts especially. I honestly think I liked the world building writing more than I did the smut scenes, and despite the one-note quest to get the main character plate bikini armor, the ending has me actually curious about picking up the second of the series. It was left at a cliffhanger - not an extreme one, we still get some story wrap up to leave one satisfied if they don't want to continue - but enough of one to make me curious how this progresses. I'm also happy the FMC stopped acting completely air-headed towards the end. Let's stop giving single women with very healthy appetites also the 'clumsy ditz' trait, thanks.

This was an entertaining bit of LitRPG porn to leaf through on occasion when bored of more serious fare. It was surprisingly well written, from the female perspective for a change, with plenty of engaging characters, even though the bodily functions and fluids *way* outweighed a plot skimpier than the protagonist’s usually ephemeral outfits. This has to be one of the filthiest things I have ever read, but it was joyful rather than agressive, dismissive, or offensive. The protagonist was endearingly hapless but muddled through the mild predicaments in a cheer-able kind of way, using *ahem* all the tools at her disposal. One nice thing was that this was a completely secondary world, full of gaming tropes, but definitely not a portal fantasy with an imported real world perspective.

Okay, first off, this is erotica so this 3 star rating I’m giving is just saying it’s a decent read. I actually think it’s more like 2 stars, but I want to be fair.
I like the setting, the character is fine, and overall the writing style is fine.
My problem is a problem with most erotica.
When I read fiction that has a heavy erotic focus, it’s nice to have great story and characters. This has really thin characters and jumps straight into sex. Most of the sex is in place of money, or possibly the character being a bit of a nympho.
It was all just happening a little too quickly for my tastes. I do give most erotica I have bothered reading around 1 star or I DNF, so I can say that if this kind of thing appeals to you, give it a whirl.

Our heroine is used to some dirty job as an adventurer for hire, but some of them are dirtier than others.
This is billed as book one of a new series.
This is an erotic fantasy story and it has all the trope of both genres. That means we get a diverse host of fantasy creatures and characters, a quest to complete and lots of steamy scenes. That all works for me! The story was well written and easy to read, if perhaps a bit predictable at times. I did really like our heroine and look forward to seeing more of her adventures in future books.
Highly recommended.

Loved the book and the enthusiasm of the heroine. For the most part, all the events were my speed but I can definitely see why it might not be for everyone.
Minus one star because of the armour scene near the end has a repeating paragraph but otherwise hardly any mistakes I could spot.

This book was deliciously filthy and completely slutty!! Serena Silverlake takes smut to an entirely different level. The copious amounts of seed that is spewed and swallowed is insane! But outside of the incredible sex, the story was good! I enjoyed the Easter eggs to her other stories in the realm! The main protagonist was a complete whore, but in a good way! Can’t wait to read what’s next!
