Holy hell this was a fantastic series and the final book wrapped things up nicely for the inhabitants of the Beladore world. They had to sacrifice and work for it to the bitter end. Great series!

Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World by Dianna Love is the 9th and final book in this arc. I have to say that this book was the best one yet, and I loved everything about it. It was simply great, forcing me to finish it in one day. Well done, Dianna.

Refresher: Daegan and his team are attacked by Immortiks, who were supposed dead many years ago. They are racing against time to find the missing ‘grimoire volumes, before the Immortiks are all released to take over and destroy the world. Daegan and his team are all involved in various dangerous situations along the way.

Daegan and Casidhe are now together and bonded, but both are still stubborn when not wanting either of them to be in danger. Casidhe learns who and where she came from, and we get to see what she can do. Casidhe later finds that she has some amazing powerful abilities, which will also enable her to shift into something very unique, and help battle the enemies with Daegan and Tristan. They did turn out to be a great couple, as they are wild and crazy about each other; it was nice to see them totally trust each other.

Reese, very much pregnant, has an immortik invading her body, and Quinn is having a hard time trying to protect her, as everyone (including Reese) are trying to keep him away from her, since the Immortik is too dangerous should it invade Quinn. With Quinn only concentrating on Reese and their unborn child, Daegan makes Evalle the new maister, and she organizes all the Beladors to come forward to help save some of their own, as well as find a way to stop the Immortiks. Isak has been helpful attacking the Immortiks, as he worries about Adrianna, who is slowly recovering.

Daegan gets a surprise visitor (Brynhild), who will join hands with him to fight against the Immortiks, as she now knows that Daegan was innocent all those years ago. As we knew in the last few books, Queen Maeve was the one who faked the Red Dragon at the Dragoni War. There are a number of shocking surprises, that come forth to help Daegan; and some evil ones who need to die.

Cathbad, who is truly bad, is determined to kill Queen Maeve, so that he can take over Taur Medb, as well as regenerate his powers; he tried to use Macha, as well as Maeve, but hopefully justice comes to him.

The last half of the book was extremely tense and exciting, with so many twists and surprises. This final book was an edge of your seat suspenseful story, that had me unable to put the book down; I needed to know what will happen next. I do not want to tell too much more, as you need to read this book to see how it all ends; not to mention who survives and who doesn’t. Dianna Love outdid herself with this fantastic finale. I think I might have to read the last half again. Very well done. I am very happy and satisfied with this wonderful conclusion. If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense, romance, wonderful characters, then you should be reading Dianna Love.

The Dragon Chronicles of Treior #9 is an exciting fast paced conclusion to the series.

Time has run out for Daegan and Casidhe, as they, the Beladors and human allies fight to save humans and preternaturals. Only a miracle or divine intervention can change the fate of the world.

Even though Diana Love foreshadowed who was behind the release of the evil Immortaks, the revelation was a surprise (at least to me). Diana sprinkled hints throughout all the books that made each of the villians the potential force behind the release of the Immortaks and the desire for world domination.

Diana accomplished quite a feat in delivering all 9 books in the series in less than a year. For those wanting a GO TO series to read, this is urban fantasy at its finest. This series is so worth the read and promises more to come!

This is the final installment of a 9 book novella series. This was a stunning conclusion to the series and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. Dianna did leave some things open ended which makes me believe we may see more from this world and that does not upset me one bit. Based on the ending I suspect we'll see these beloved characters again in the future, but if we don't I feel this was the perfect ending to the 9 books. This series has been terribly hard to review without spoiling anything.

I have loved the Belador world since Alterant, and have loved going on this journey with this wonderful group of characters. Many of the questions that have been plaguing the reader since book 1 are finally answered in this installment. We find out where Casidhe's origins and her connection to the dragons. We see see several new alliances formed and enemies are finally defeated. I will tell you that I did not see it coming when we finally find out who is behind the Imortik invasion, but when you read who it is, you won't be surprised at all.

This book certainly kept me on my toes. Every time you think "all is lost" or "how are they going to get out of this situation", Dianna comes up with the perfect solution to their predicament. There is a ton of action to keep you guessing and turning the pages as the clock ticks down to the Imortik master opening the death wall and their friends turning into mindless supernatural pawns. I wasn't quite sure they were going to be able to save those possessed by Imortiks and if everyone was going to survive before it was all over.

Since this is a series of novellas, you have to start at the beginning and read them in order or it won't make sense. I do think you could pick this up without having read the Belador series. I've only read through book 6 of 10 of that series, and while I know I missed some stuff I was able to follow along easily. It has only made me want to get back to those books and pick up where I left off. Reading that series might help you understand the magic system a bit better and some of the other characters and their backstories, but I don't feel it is 100% required reading for this series.

Overall I loved this book and the series as a whole. We got great world building and character development. The characters had to learn from their mistakes and deal with the consequences of their actions. They were all faced with difficult decisions and put in terrible situations where people they cared about where in danger. I love this world, the magic, the varied types of characters, and I'm invested in what happens to the characters. I'm hoping there is more in store for them and we'll see them in the future!

The time has arrived for the Treoir Dragon Chronicles series to conclude, and Dianna Love definitely took the developments in the ninth book in unexpected directions while packing any situations with riveting action. I never imagined some of the incidents would occur as they did, and I fretted right along with individuals fighting for good while wanting those with evil intent to lose and not reach their intended goals. TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES OF THE BELADOR WORLD is constantly creative with one original idea after another being depicted, and the storyline totally captured my thoughts throughout every compelling scene.

With so many scenarios that could go wrong, Daegan fears letting Casidhe go anywhere without him. One reason is because her expertise is required to read the volumes of grimoires if they are all finally located. But an even bigger motive to keep her safe is how he now feels about her since discovering she is his mate. As these two make plans to move forward with their potential strategy for winning, there is much turmoil back in Atlanta as Imortiks are gaining control of those fighting for justice, like Reese and several Beladors. There are also other troubling happenings that take allies out of commission when most needed, while other foes try to implement cunning schemes. Yet the determined personal pledge that Daegan must carry out will be the most challenging of his life.

Unforeseen revelations were frequently being disclosed as I read the final story in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles series, and I was repeatedly shocked at what was divulged. I certainly had no clue that some of the facts learned would be the truth, and I really liked how Dianna Love kept me in suspense at times as one detail after another came to light. Quite a few of the surprises made so much sense once they become known, and I then remembered some inconspicuous clues. How all plays out for Daegan, Casidhe, and the many other beloved characters that I have come to know over the years is skillfully handled with such imaginative situations, and I could always clearly picture any episode in my mind. The ending gives hope for more from this urban fantasy world, and I cannot wait to see what concept Dianna Love dreams up next.

I really started caring about Dagan's story when the Beladore's rescued him from Tower Mebh in the Belador books I with many others wanted a background story and Dianna delivered in a most satisfying way.
I highly recommend the 9 book arc and hope it comes out as both a boxed set and an audio book set. During the covid lockdown the release of these books within a year has really given me something to look forward to.

Dagaen has old school nobility with current day caring for his people. He's trying to save the world and is torn in different directions trying to appease gods and keep his family safe. Family is who you choose to share your journey, not necessarily blood.

Through his journey he meets a woman who has an odd gift, the ability to read ancient texts, and it just tickles his energy. She is not sucked in by his charm but her energy triggers around him, and he asks "is she the one?"
She's used to being alone, a bookworm in a bookshop of rare books, so this being part of a team is new. Betrayal, deception misunderstandings and delight are the signposts on the roadmaps of this journey.
In book 9 we find our team of heros reuniting to close the rift that is letting demons slide into our realm, martial law is trying to keep people from being possessed and thrill seekers are trying to video the demons in action. US Military and Izak Knights group of merc's are scanning the areas around Atlanta hunting for any clue to the locations of the breach.
I will let you know that once you start down this path there is no putting the books down.

An amazing series building up to the conclusion! I love this series and Dianna pumped out 9 books within a year so we wouldn't have to wait long. This ties everything together, and it's woven in such a way we it makes sense. We had breadcrumbs scattered throughout the books of who the main person was that started this but it still felt like a surprise. The way Dianna writes her characters bring so much life and emotion out of the pages it's thrilling.

Time has ran out for Dagan and the Beladors. Things in Atlanta are heating up with Quinn trying to keep Reese safe, and Reese fighting the immotiks for her baby and her life. The beladors are trying to handle the demons that are unleashed and to keep themsleves alive from the humans who don't know who's good and who's bad anymore. It's a struggle for power and to keep those safe. Dagan is struggling with gods and immotiks but he has Casidhe at his side to help him through it.

It's a wild ride, but everything's coming to a close. Will our heros win? How many will we loose? Is someone going to escape? As I said before everything is tied in well and this book is just so good. You won't be disappointed in the conclusions that happen!

WARNING! This review is of the last book in a serial story set in the Belador world. This is not the end of the Belador's, as we see in this book, but the conclusion of this storyline. If you have not read the prior books in the serial, stop now and begin with book 1, at least...really, I'd recommend going back to the beginning of the Belador's, but if you are impatient, at a minimum, start with book 1 of the serial!

The final book in this serial leaves nothing to be desired. Filled with constant action, unexpected twists, and enough loose ends to leave you wanting more, it is a satisfying conclusion to the Imortik storyline. Daegan and Casidhe are nothing short of amazing, newly wrapped up in each other while facing immense, unexpected trials, and I long to see what their future holds. Quinn and Reece, too, are an open-ended storyline, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for them. And we shall not even broach the subject of mommy dearest and how she will impact everyone's lives:-)

Between determining who was behind the Imortiks, and the mystery of Daegan's parentage, this is an exciting ending to the latest Belador adventure, and I cannot wait for more!!!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES #9" OMG!!! What a mind-blowing rollercoaster ride full of intrigue, danger, action, twists that you don't see coming it grabs you from beginning to end.
Daegan & Cashide now bonded with each other its still a race to find the grimoure she finally learned who she is & where she came from she some amazing powerful abilities she can shift into something very different that helps battle the enemies with Daegan & Tristan.
Reese being pregnant & Quinn trying to protect her with an Immortik invading her body everyone is trying to keep him away from her because I'd the Immortik invade his body it would he very dangerous.
Daegan gets Evalle to be the new Maister in place of Quinn being to busy with Reese she gets all the Beladors together to find a way to stop the Imortiks.
I definitely recommend to get this book such a heart pounding conclusion so many surprises & twists you on the edge of your seat it's so intense your turning the pages to see what happens next so well worth the read I'm so looking forward to more from the Beladors in the future absolutely must have no question.

OMG such a wonderfully written series cannot believe it is over.

Casidhe and Daegan have rebuilt their trust and love for each other. Casidhe, Daegan and Tristan travel to find out about who or what Casidhe is. Turns out it's quite a shocking revelation. To find the 3rd grimoire volume, they must free Zeelindar from Ainvar's control which takes some time out of the time they have left to save the people that have been possessed from the imortik master's timeline.

Quinn is beside himself with grief after Reese is infected/possessed by an imortik and he feels helpless that he can't help her at all.

Brynhild found out the Daegan did not start the Dragoni war and is really grateful that the battle the she had with Daegan did not cause him to die because then she would have killed an innocent.

Dianna really knows how to leave you wanting more in her books. When this one ended, I hated to find it was the end of the series in this, but it leaves me to believe we will be seeing Daegan, Casidhe, Evalle, Storm, Tristan, Adrianna and all the others later on.

Wow! The Treoir Dragon series has been a non-stop thrill ride for the last 8 books, and this final installment is no exception. It's packed full of steamy romances, epic battles, mythic beasts, and more twists an surprises than an Agatha Christie novel, and I loved every wonderful minute of it.
When I started this last volume, I really didn't have any idea how some of the issues were going to be resolved and, to be honest, there were a few I wasn't sure would be resolved. By the last pages, pretty much everything is resolved. People are where they should be, villains get their just desserts, heroes (and heroines) are looking forward to the happiness, and the rests they've worked so hard for and some long standing mysteries get solved.
Still, there's potential for lots of future stories set in the dragon-Belador world, and I hope we'll see lots of them over the years. Until then, there are all nine volumes of the Treoir Dragon Chronicles to reread.

O.M.G. Ok, I had no idea how this story was going to come together. I wasn't sure there was a way to do it but Dianna Love.....she did it with panache. I loved every minute of it, was so engrossed that I didn't put it down until I was done. So many beautiful twists, turns, surprises and satisfying endings. The characters were, as usual, astounding to behold and even when they were being put through the wringer, they had hope and managed to come out on top. I am forever fascinated by authors who can create these magical worlds that suck us in and keep us coming back again and again. The brilliance it must take to write such fantastical ideas, worlds, characters and still make them completely human and endearing. I am awed. Read this series, you won't be disappointed. Magic, mystery, mayhem, betrayal, love, friendship, villains, heroes, action, adventure and more. Take a chance and jump into the story of Daegan, his friends and family. Truly a grand adventure to love.

Absolutely amazing ending to what has been a journey of epic proportions. Dianna Love hit it out of the park with this final book. She even manages to throw in some major plot twists that no one will see coming.

Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 9 is constant non-stop action from beginning to end. Everything you have been wanting to see answered has a conclusion of some sort.

I love this book and didn’t want it to end. This final book met all my expectations as a reader and then some.

I’m hoping to see some of these characters play out roles in future books. There are so many stories that can still be told and Dianna Love made it so we can jump back into this wonderful fantasy world that she created.

Highly recommend this series!

I received and ARC for an honest review.

Oh my what an ending to this journey with Daegan, Casidhe and the Beladors and I for one did not see a major plot twist!
Daegan, Casidhe and Lanna search for the final Grimoire to stop the Imortik master from opening the death wall. Brynhild makes a startling discovery about who really started the Dragoni war and is grateful she didn't manage to kill Deagan, but has her vendetta cost her Jeovan?
Reese continues to fight the Imortik trying to take her over whilst Quinn does everything he can to try and protect her and their baby.
I can't say much without giving out major spoilers, but needless to say Dianna answers all the questions raised in the previous novellas and leaves the reader with crumbs for future books.
Thank you Dianna for the journey with these chronicles which I am now going to read through again from the beginning.

Daegan is given a task in order to find the Grimoire but he would rather not do so. Casidhe is on the final leg of her journey to discover her family and the gift she has. Meanwhile the Immortiks continue to wreck havoc which doesn't get any better when Reese runs solo and tees off the Master.

Everything comes to a head for Daegan and Casidhe, can they accept the answers they found? Will all the romance stories within this story find their happy endings?

I'd love to tell you but in this instance I'll leave the bait to hang and hope that Ms. Love has a great big haul of readers added to her fan base.

I've been darn lucky to be a part of this world but I'm saddened to see it end.

I've voluntarily chose to receive a complimentary copy as this honest opinion written with my own words Cannot be bought.

This is book 9  in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World series.  We are back with Daegan, Casidhe and the others in this final installment of this fabulous series.  I couldn’t imagine how this author could possibly pull together all these different story line threads but she did it.  It was AMAZING!   Everything made sense. There was plenty of fantastic action and suspense. Exciting moments that made me hold my breath. There were dragons, hawdrekis, Gryphons, Beladors, goddesses, demigods and so many surprises.  There were no questions unanswered.  I felt a sense of completeness when it was over.

I adore the intricate writing style of this amazing author and will continue to devour her books set in exciting worlds.  Her new series is highly anticipated by this extremely satisfied reader.

Fantastic final book for this 9 book adventure! Love this world and it’s characters so much that it was amazing to be so flooded with books that I never had to leave! Casidhe and Deagans story was full of action, adventure and drama. All of our favorite characters and villains show up in this final act and truly make us wonder what will happen! Dianna Love of course plotted it all out and outdone herself with this final book because I was shocked by some of the things that happened! I am so happy about what happened with the Imortiks but also sad…so many little storylines that are left open. So it’s done…..but is it really?! Please tell me we get Adrianna!!! And Lanna!!! Actually I will read about any of them. Just give me more!

An awe-inspiring finale by a masterful storyteller; Diana Love has revealed a rich and elaborate tapestry of characters and storylines which has culminated in a stunning conclusion. All your questions will be answered but with plenty of jaw dropping surprises in store.
The Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World by Diana Love rivals Tolkien and Sarah J Maas for epic fantasy.
This series is one to be devoured, it nourishes the imagination and warms the heart with complex characters and intricately woven storylines. I can’t wait to re-read all 9 in quick succession and stay immersed in the Belador world.

I am so sad it's over but it's never really over since we can now binge read this series yay!! I also think that Ms. Love isn't truly finished (crosses fingers) with the Belador World. OMG what a ride this has been! 9 books in under 1 year.
DIanna knocks it out of the park...
Her world building with the Beladors is amazing. Her character's really do come to life. It's like meeting up with old friends now.
Casidhe has finally discovered her heritage, and it is amazing. Daegan. Tristan and Casidhe have worked so hard to discover the where about's of the 3 Grimoires to close the gate.
We meet many old friends, and new enemies. All are not who they seem.
They are a few stories that are yet not complete..
Does Adrianna recover? And Cathbad's story has not yet come to an end. Will Reese and Quinn's unborn child survive?
Hoping and waiting for more of the Beladors..

What an amazing, thrilling, action-packed book to finish off this series! You’ll want to kick back, put your feet up and settle in as you’re not going to want to put this book down. Secrets are out, questions are answered and a battle to end all battles goes down. The situation is catastrophic, but one way or the other, only one side can win! This action-packed book is filled with danger, possession, demons, dragons, magic, Immortiks, Beladors, allies, deception, family, romance, druids, grimoire volumes, loyalty, a Hawdreki, an amulet, betrayal, goddesses, a death wall, twists and turns and more!

This is the satisfying conclusion to an intense series. Dianna Love writes an intense, dynamic world full of dragons, multiple evil beings and lots of treachery. The dragons, romantic relationships and determination of the Beladors in this series more than off sets the evil, betrayal and delusions of grandeur on the part of the bad guys. This is the series conclusion and without giving away any details most questions were answered and justice was served but….there was an opening left for additional stories in the Belador world. I appreciate how quickly these books were released since I am not a fan of cliffhangers and it was easier to keep track of the storyline and characters.

Book 9 feels like the climax we’ve been building toward for a while. Everything is on the line, and there’s a real sense that not everyone’s going to make it out alive. The battle for Treoir, the fate of the Beladors, and the legacy of the dragon king all collide in ways that are both epic and deeply personal.

Daegan has truly come into his own by this point. There’s still that edge of mystery to him, but he’s no longer the reluctant leader. He’s choosing to stand, to protect, and to own his power. Watching him evolve has been one of my favorite parts of this entire arc.

The twists? So good. Some I saw coming, others hit like a punch to the gut.

The final book in this series was absolutely worth the wait. The action and hits just kept coming throughout the entire novel. And we learned a lot of things that have plagued readers not just throughout the chronicles but also throughout the series (such as Deagan's mother). This book was a fairly quick read and was long enough to round out the storyline. I can't wait for more books in this world because there are still unknowns that we learn from this book. I'm looking forward to more from the Beledors.

The final story in the "Dragon Chronicles" series and it goes out with a bang! Cathbad, Maub, Daegon, Casidhe, Reece, Quinn, and so many more face their enemy and either overcome or succomb to temptation. Unexpected trials, undisguised challenges, unknown alliance and ultimate betrayals have only scratched the surface of this 9 book series. Who survives?, how the world moves on from here? and questions of accountability and truth form the theme. What lies ahead for these characters and how will their actions affect the others will be disclosed in a future series.

Book 9 and the best of the series. I loved it - I have to say it’s amazing. So many questions answered: who/what is Casidhe, Daegan’s mother, what will happen to Reese and the baby? This and more. To say much about the book would reveal spoilers and I would hate to give much away. I will say this whole series is a great read, don’t miss one, and the best is this last. Lovers of the Belador world don’t despair though. I think there is enough left on the table that this won’t be the last we see of our much loved Beladors.

Whole series of the Dragon Chronicles

I have read all of the Belador and now the Dragon Chronicles novels. At first, I was reading the Belador novels because of Sherilyn Kenyon, but I have to say that you kept me reading them because of the action, the twist of romance, and the conflict between humans and non-human. I also think everyone liked to hate the Tribunal and Sen just like the characters in the books. I look forward to any future Belador/Dragon Chronicles novels, they are guaranteed purchases for me. Keep up the great work!!!

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title (Audible Membership)

Finally, the Grand Finale, the episode that should tie up all those questions that the reader has accumulated through the whole saga.
Yes, the author does come through with the answers and then some. The drama and intriguing dynamics of the various characters is added to, by the revelation of whose behind this whole sick enterprise.
No, I won't give it away, but it has been a stupendous series, and the karma for the whole set of characters is fitting.
