Little did she dream that she would not only come face to face with the man she named her "Limo Man", but that he would demand she learn the exact meaning of clarity.

About the author

I have been writing stories as long as I can remember. I am an author with Blushing Books. I enjoy writing both contemporary erotica as well as historical books set in ages past. I love developing characters that are able to tell their own stories. My heroines are multi-faceted women who are strong, intelligent and capable in their own right but find a deep need to share their lives with those strong, sexy and dominant alpha males that capture their hearts. My heros recognize the gift of submission for the gift it is, loving and protecting the women that offer that gift. I enjoy sweet, romantic stories with just a taste of domestic discipline as well as one that explore the harsher D/S lifestyle. I also enjoy writing age-play stories set both in Victorian era where women didn't have a great deal of power in their lives as well as in today's present time where women still find their happiness is greatly enhanced in offering the gift of submission. I just couldn't grasp the idea that a Don would play mind games with a sub just so he could whack her. My guess is that Elizabeth should have picked someone not as control hungry. As to play her for a fool.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review - This book is the journey of Elizabeth as she fulfills her dreams and finds her voice. This story slowly builds the story, background, and characters in a way that makes the story feel natural and not dragging. Logan is such a wonderful Dom and I love that Liz is given a chance to explain herself and her actions before a punishment. And even more that Logan is willing to change the plan so that it fits the reality of the circumstances.

This book is great. I mean, you know what to expect from a BDSM romance. The Master always gets his submissive and vice versa.

This book doesn't hide from the beginning that the Journey is the Destination here. It also doesn't fall for the cliché to introduce more potential submissives and masters as 2D-figures to feed into following volumes. It also doesn't start with the other cliché of throwing an unsuspecting girl headfirst into the BDSM lifestyle. All the characters in this book (a total of 4 couples) are familiar with Domination, submission and spanking (the big subject here).

If there was one thing to criticize, it would be the fact that there is nearly no conflict, and everything is going straight well from the beginning. There were two potential villains showing up early, who then tracelessly disappeared rather quickly. Also the "character flaw" introduced for one of the main characters is ... weak, and the other main character has none at all.

But the well-written characters, the believable behaviors, and a loving view into the world of design, fully compensates for these imperfections.

Five stars well deserved, and I'm eager to read the sequel.

What an incredible story of a D/S relationship! Elizabeth is a sub but hasn’t found the right Dom. Something in her past won’t let herself truly submit, so it’s been difficult to find the right person. Along comes Logan, who is the epitome of a Dom who helps her to embrace her true submissive self. These characters had major chemistry and I hoped they would end up together. This author gives you a complete insight to a true D/S relationship and I loved every word. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. This was a truly amazing read.

Wow! 10 Mind blowing stars!

This is the first book I've read by the author and now it won't be the last! I've added several books to my TBR and I belive I have a new fave author! Anyways...

First of all, the book is based outside of the clubs which is different than most books out there... and I loved that! The author did a fantastic job on this book. There were so many characters involved and all of them were done perfectly. Each had a story to tell and it wasn't hard to keep up with any of it.

Liz and Logan... I don't know where to begin. Logan is a wonderful man who every girl dreams of being with. He is a hot smooth talking Dom that will melt your panties... and yet. His care and concern for Liz is mind blowing. The aftercare he provides is stunning. He is totally 'in tune' with Liz and it really shows! He might be the new book boyfriend, if Liz will share with me :P I doubt it, they seemed totally connected. Maybe she can introduce me to Ethan instead ;P

The author painted a perfect picture with this story and I can't wait to read more! The characters were so real that I could see myself being friends with Liz and Nancy, chit chatting all afternoon over coffee. The story was so well done, I could see this being turned into a movie! Well, an X rated sizzling movie that will blow your mind.

Also, I do hope that Nancy/Jason and Ethan gets their own books and have their own HEA because they deserve it :D
Overall this was a super hot super amazing story that I highly recommend. Watch out folks! The author will soon take this genre by storm!

This is a wonderful story. I love Maggie Ryan’s books. She does such a great job writing characters that are well rounded and thought out. Her characters usually have a background that helps explain why they act the way they do. Her female characters are usually sweet, friendly people, not bitches. And her male characters are definitely dominant!
This story starts out with Julie and Elizabeth. Julie is engaged to Jack and they are a D/s couple. Elizabeth is submissive, but has not found a permanent Dom. Elizabeth and Julie are partners in an up and coming design firm. We learn about not only their personal lives, but also how their personal lives spill over into their professional lives. It takes a while, but eventually Elizabeth finds her own Dom and has her own happy ending.
I was so glad to find out that this is going to be a series. I am really interested in finding out how the different characters progress. I also like that this was a longer story than most spanking stories have been recently. This is 134 pages long and they are all wonderful pages. If you have read any of my other reviews, you know that I like there to be spanking in a spanking story. Well, there is in this story! But, it is always in context to the story and the characters. I highly recommend this story to everyone!

If you like a book that tells a story, not just a reason for spanking, this is the one for you. This book is hotter than any I've read lately and I'll definitely read more by Maggie Ryan. I was a little confused in the beginning because of the number of characters introduced right away, but after spending some time getting to know all of them, it was easy to fall in love with each and everyone-the array of doms, especially. I'm not usually a huge fan of the BDSM club books, but this one was so moving. Each character was so perfectly fleshed out. I could totally relate to Elizabeth's inner conflict (won't give away the story) and I loved how sensitive Logan was to her needs. I'd recommend this book to others in a heartbeat.
