This book is a good read for early readers that gives information about animals that hibernate in order to get through the winter. The book goes through what hibernation looks like for different animals and why they hibernate.
Easy to read non-fiction, great for a read aloud to young children. Wonder if the students will question the squirrel pictured on the back cover as a hibernator since our Dallas squirrels are always around...
Hibernation is a colorful book teacheing about hibernation. The pictures are of real animals and the book teaches the patterns of hibernation. I enjoyed readking the book
Read this book for our hibernation storytime. It explains what hibernation is in a way that was easy for the preschoolers to follow along. The pages are short and sweet. Pictures are of real animals as they hibernate. The preschoolers enjoyed seeing all of the different animals as they prepare to hibernate, and as they sleep. It was a great way to introduce hibernation.
This book I think would be good for all grades as it is informational but depending on the support that was/is provided to the students all students could potentially interact with this material. I believe that this is a good overall explanation as to what exactly hibernation is. (assignment 11)
