I know it's difficult to get excited about a standard college algebra/trigonometry textbook, but this was a comprehensive and well-laid out instruction (as distinguished from the Pearson 'Statistics' textbook I had the displeasure of limping through). I'd give it a five-star rating, but I think three stars is the five-star equivalent for a textbook, and maybe the best this category can expect to warrant.

I have loved the previous Blitzer textbooks I've used (Introductory Algebra for College Students and Intermediate Algebra), but this one, while it recognizably has his usual entertaining style and instructional clarity, it's not well organized as the other books. More critically, it has many typos and some more important errors including a couple of actually wrong answers in the back. I used the second edition; this may have improved in later versions.

in the preface it states to the untrained eye not every thing is mathematical yet to the trained eye nearly everything is...

There's no review [to me, anyway] of a Math book. However, it was good, all things considered.
