Supernatural horror from L.T. Emery and Andreas Hort.
As a fan of LT Emery's and Andreas Hort's from their anthology work, I was excited to see them team up to bring us this; a weird fiction romp that is enjoyable, funny, and horrific in equal measure.
This story is a quick read, but it has left a lasting impression. I don't want to give anything away, but I'm a horror fiction veteran and I still found it deeply disturbing. The authors have skillfully written the tale without superfluous filler or overt blood and gore, succinctly delivering a powerful shock.
I was fortunate to obtain a free copy from Booksprout, and I'm happy to say that I freely and honestly loved reading it!
Loved the non-conventional view of a bookworm. As an avid reader, I loved the twisted nature of the bookworm. Fantastic descriptions and imaginative. A wonderful twist to the nearby bookworm reading a book that I remember as a child.
