Mary B. Morrison, New York Times best-selling author is the up and coming artist with a multiple book-to-film deal. Mary has seventeen published novels including her newest release, If I Can’t Have You.

She writes for Kensington Publishing Corporation as Mary B. Morrison and Grand Central Publishing as HoneyB. In her novels Mary addresses social and sexual issues while empowering her female characters.

Jeff Clanagan, CEO of Codeblack Entertainment and filmmaker, Leslie Small, optioned the film rights to Mary B. Morrison’s popular Soulmates Dissipate series (which includes seven novels). Her first book, Soulmates Dissipate, is being developed for feature film in 2013.

Mary is an Executive Producer on her film deal and she was Executive Producer and playwright for her stage play Single Husbands (based on her novel under her pen name HoneyB).

On June 3, 2000, Mary withdrew her retirement to self-publish her debut novel, Soulmates Dissipate. Mary has also sponsored an anthology publishing 33 students entitled Diverse Stories: From the Imaginations of Sixth Graders.

Lift Every Voice and Write is Mary’s non-profit. The organization is established to help increase literacy and support students interested in pursuing writing as a career.

Born in Aurora, Illinois, and reared in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mary is the middle child of seven. She’s a graduate of McDonogh #35 High School in New Orleans and Berkeley Community College in Berkeley, California.

Her wonderful son, Jesse Byrd, Jr. is a 2010 graduate of U.C. Santa Barbara and producer on Mary’s film deal. Jesse has recently completed his first novel and owns a clothing business, OiseauChateau.com.

Mary currently resides in Oakland, California.

Honey, curled in a fetal position with her gun aimed on Benito's head is kidnapped and stuffed in the open trunk of Valentino's truck The first chapter picks up exactly where Who's Loving You ended. Suspense, disappointment, shock, anger, sadness, happiness, and hopefulness are just a few of the feelings and sensations Mary B Morrison takes us through on this journey. So many outrageous twists and turns happen and you will undoubtedly have compassion and sympathy for the people you least expect. Jada and her family from Mary B Morrison's Soulmates Series, makes an appearance in this book and quickly become permanent fixtures. Sadly we see a whole new side of Mrs. Jada Diamond Tanner and she seems a bit different and a lot less likable then she was when we used to know her. Actually, it seems that most of the characters we grew fond of in this series and in the Soulmates Series switched places with the ones I disliked immensely. Very interesting to say the least. After wreaking havoc and causing major unforgettable mayhem in people's lives, many of the characters turn over a new leaf and seem to have become better people but is that just an act? Have you ever watched a movie or read a book where the main character does the one thing you didn't want them to do? Or picks the wrong significant other for themself for whatever reason? Well that is how I felt reading this book. If this was a movie I would have been screaming at the screen for the characters to make the right choices. It feels very dissimilar and almost like a betrayal when the characters you feel you know make such out of pocket decisions. Sometimes it is refreshing for something unexpected to happen or to not have a happy ending for once but this one felt like a knife in my back. You will see. This novel commands nothing less than five stars and is honestly the best installment of this series. The Honey Diaries aren't over yet because currently we are left with the biggest cliff hanger of all. Lets just hope the next book in this succession is the last, that everything turns out right, and that the drama ends because at this point it seriously seems like Honey and friends deserve the best and a fifth installment would just be over kill of the story line.

This book was just OK, the first two books was great but this one.....ummm not so great. It took me a little longer to read this book just because it was all over the place.it seemed as if it was rushed and the way it ended was soooo lame it just left me hanging, hopefully the next one will be better if there is a next one....Don't waste your money on this book, go rent it from a library.

This book was a fast read. It was a little light in comparison to other Mary B books. Especially when it comes to these characters. I don't know if she was trying to rap up the series with these characters or not. She kind of left it open for another book but you never. Like I said it was a very fast read but it was entertaining nonetheless.

This book was good. I must say the first novel about Honey was the best. This had so much going on. The beginning of Jada and Grant's relationship was just crazy to me. I mean they get together and Jada takes ownership just like that. It is a great read, but I don't think this is a book that you will enjoy unless you read the other books before this one about Honey.
