This book by Veronica Schwarz breaks new and timely fertile ground in the pursuit of gender equality around the world.
Well researched history on this subject and current information giving statistics, drawings by the author, personal reflections and thought provoking insights into possible ways of approaching and solving the imbalance of gender, so that both women and men will benefit in all societies.
This book would be good for VCE students, Women’s Studies courses at Universities, U3A and Community Houses.
It challenges Myths, stereo types and modes of thinking which may be considered harmful, outdated, reactionary, but is delivered with whimsy and questions the reader to think in a new and progressive way on the gender issue.
An excellent read for ages 16 to seniors.
