In this short story we meet Haley, a food critic and blogger, and her back luck with men.
And one night while she eats ice cream and navigates the channels of her TV that she comes across with Chef Alexander’s program and falls in love with him.
We will have to continue reading the series to see what happens with these characters.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
This is book four of the A Girl Gone Crazy Short Stories series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Haley is sweet, everyone friend but feels never good enough to be more than just a friend. She has given up on love and men all together until she sees Joel on TV. Joel the sexy as all get out hottest TV Chef someone Haley will never meet so in her heart and head, they are together …he is her other half. Will she ever meet her other half?

A prequel?

This is part of the 'A Girl Gone Crazy' series and I think might be a prequel of sorts. I haven't read the rest of the series so didn't get much from this as the heroine didn't even get to meet her hero in person. Either way it's very short and doesn't have much to it so without the context of the other books is a bit lost. Its an easy read and the characters are okay, but the way it just ended left me hanging. I might try one of the other parts of the series but if they're all super short and intended to be read together then I'm not sure I'm keen. I'm not a fan of bit part stories that could just be one book.

Haley was just dumped in front of everyone. Her friend Ethan is the one true friend that can bring her back to life. Searching the TV late at night, she finds Chef Joel Alexander and a little boy making a souffle, and is hooked.
The short storyline goes from the worst low to an amazing high in a short time. Loved Haley and her friend Ethan, whose banter is all the best of things - she will not go out dancing with him as she will never find a straight guy in a gay bar. The author had me laughing so hard with the wise cracks. Will definitely be reading more by this author.

A prequel to "A girl gone crazy". This was a very short prequel to an otherwise good novel. Quite frankly, I would have included this book as the initial chapters to A girl gone crazy. As it was, it provided an insight into Hal's personality and emotional traumas, contributing to the appreciation of her character in the second book. However, "Love at First Bite" is so short, in my opinion, it doesn't stand up to be a separate book.

I love this series and Love at the first Bite is no exception! It has drama, a lot of humor, great friendships, and Haley discovers the love of her life...even passages regarding prejudice toward the main character´s figure is written about with a good dose of humor but nonetheless with truth. If you are looking for an easy read and a good laugh, download this book, you´ll will enjoy it!

Starts out at the lowest point for any woman to have been used to get to someone else. I liked Haley’s spunky attitude and her best friend is wonderful, this was just getting good and it ends on a cliffhanger. A cute, interesting storyline can’t wait to read more.

I loved this book from the first page with her and Ethan. Hal sees Joel a chef on TV and she is done for. This has amazing characters a great story and wonderful writing. This is a short story and part of a series but well worth reading. Great story I loved it.

I so enjoy this series! Haley is such a sweetheart, and this story really tells the tale of what a great friend Ethan is to Haley. I love how we see the first time she saw Joel on tv and fell in love. It was adorable!
