The book was okay. It was fast paced but not very believable. I'm never a fan of profanity so that didn't help any. The interaction of the characters was okay but so many that I was getting confused. Not a fan of the book but did finish it. Cute ending.

Erin gets pulled into everything when she finds out that Nick - a man she briefly met at an airport, left her his entire estate after his death. Which is already strange, but the more she looks into it, the less it feels like luck and more like she’s stepped into something she doesn’t fully understand.
I liked that Erin doesn’t have everything figured out. Shes just trying to piece things together while everything around her keeps getting weirder. And even though Nick is gone, his presence is everywhere. The story really leans into the mystery around him. Who he actually was, why he chose her, and what really happened to him.
The whole time I was reading, I kept going back and forth between being curious and suspicious of literally everything. Every new detail just made things feel a little more off, and I liked that it didn’t immediately hand you answers.
It’s definitely more of a slow burn mystery than anything explosive, but it works because the tension is always there in the background. It’s the kind of story where you’re not rushing, you’re just watching it unravel.
Not a romance-heavy read, and honestly I didn’t miss it. The mystery and overall vibe carried it for me.

Interesting enough story, though several very unlikely scenarios. Characters were not well-defined, and there were several glaring errors and typos. Example: the vodka was getting to her (she was drinking rum and Coke). While struggling in the forest, she fell on the floor (instead of the ground). The writing was not very inspired. I won't be reading more from this author, as it was a struggle to finish this book.

Great Story. Lots of ecitement
Loved the story and the characters. Made me cheer for the heroine .
The descriptions in the story made me feel like I was in the same p!ace. A good read.

Enjoyed this read. Reyes hooked me at the beginning and did not disappoint. Some plot twists and an underlying love story made it a perfect read.

I thought this would make a better TV show. Some parts of the story seemed a little shallow.
