A kidnapping gone wrong. A chronically ill child. And a union nobody sees coming…except the barrel of a gun.

Quin Hedger is a rare breed. He’s a doctor who grew up on a ranch, with four brothers, a pious mother and a father who left this earth not long ago. Quin is hard-working, has a heart of gold, and will do anything for any of his patients, namely one. Getting little Trinity a new kidney isn’t any easy task, but he’s been at it since she was a baby and he isn’t giving up, not even when her corrupt Uncle arranges an ill-fated kidnapping that has a sudden twist.

Whitney has raised Trinity all but on her own. Trinity’s father left when he couldn’t handle dealing with a sick child, but thankfully her brother Peter is there to sweep up the bits and fill the gaps…until he’s more trouble than he’s worth. Trinity’s doctor, who insists on being called ‘Dr. Quin’ as a kind sentiment, has always put her daughter front and center, so it tugs at both their heartstrings when they have to watch her health start to deteriorate.

When Trinity’s father surprises Quin and Whitney, they’re led down a path of hope, only to be let down once again, as Trinity lays in hospital, missing out on her young life. Although hopeful, Quin keeps hitting brick walls in his quest to find what the little girl needs, and in doing so, he also finds what he’s always needed, but he can’t have both until the one he loves can love again. It’s a slippery slope and a tricky one at best. And when Quin finally sees the fog clear, he finds himself looking down the barrel of a gun.

This slow-burn romance is heartwarming and captivating. The characters are fascinating, realistically portrayed and easily engaged me in their story. Though Quin and Whitney shine in this story, so do some of the secondary characters like Trinity, Whitney’s daughter, and both of their larger than life Mamas. Gotta look out for the wrath of your Mama when you mess up!

In today’s world, health professionals are recognized as heroes, and Dr Quin Hedger definitely fits that description. He goes beyond the normal constraints of the his job and becomes a hero for Whitney and her young daughter, Trinity, who is quite the firecracker despite her illness. Of course the extra reason behind his actions is founded in his deep love for Whitney and the little girl that has been in his care since she was an infant. Whitney is a single, Tiger Mom (as Quinn calls her)….strong and determined to do anything and everything to get her daughter healthy. Nothing else in her life is as important as her daughter, so relationships or her love life have become non existent. That changes as Quin finally gives her an indication that he is interested in being more that just her daughter’s doctor. She finds she does have some room in heart for another, especially the handsome, charming and dedicated doctor. They have to weather a few setbacks and roadblocks in their efforts to get Trinity healthy before they can forge a future together. This story also highlights their close knit, very supportive families. The teasing, the snark, as well as the love and concern is all very relatable. This story does end in a cliffhanger, so be prepared. I can’t wait to discover what happens next for this couple and their families.

This is book six in A Town Without Pity Series and it is Quin and Whitney's story and omg it is a must read. Whitney's daughter Trinity is in hospital and on dialysis as she desperately needs a kidney transplant to survive but time is running out the older she gets but Whitney will do everything possible to ensure that she gets the best care possible. Quin is a specialist in urology and he loves what he does even though it is really difficult at times to watch his patients suffer and Trinity who is eight holds a special place in his heart as she is so sassy and deals really well with her condition which she has had for many ago and he has vowed to do everything possible to find her a kidney so she can have the chance of a better future. As Quin and Whitney spend more time together there feelings and chemistry for each other grows stronger but will it be enough for them to have a future together with everything that is happening in there lives. I absolutely love this book and I couldn't put it down as I wanted to see what would happen next and omg what a cliff hanger ending and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. Just remember that right from book one they have cliff hanger ending so they need to be read in order but I definitely recommend you read them and you will not be disappointed as Sandy Appleyard is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading.

This story will have you crying your eyes out almost immediately. A single mom with a child that needs a kidney and a doctor that gives it his all to find one legally and hopefully in time. Dr. Quin and Whitney both love the little girl, Trinity. Luckily it all works when Quin finds out he is actually a match. Trinity then asks about him and her mom getting together, like everyone knows and can not wait for it to be official. Loved the ending so much....except the last few paragraphs. What a bummer to the day. Can not wait for the next book.

I loved this book, but I hated the ending. It feels unfinished to me.
The story did flow from the tart to the unfinished finish.
The characters worked so well together and I had a wonderful
connection with them as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story.
is this book unfinished and does it carry on with the next book?
I can recommend this book to others that are over the age of 18+

I am loving the Town Without Pity series. No More Time is gut wrenching with a story line of a single mother dealing with her sick child and a Dr. giving his all to heal her. Dr. Quin and Whitney have a slow burn story and their families support and love helps them through a tumultuous time. Very well written with excellent character development and a moving story that has you rooting for that happy ending. I received this ARC and voluntarily give my review.

Action and adventure fill the pages of this romance and keep you turning the pages wanting to see what happens next. Twists and turns have you sitting on the edge of your seat at times as you're swept up in the story unable to stop reading. Well developed characters are easy to get to know and you can't help but root for them as they're on a journey to love and HEA.

Quin Hedger is a doctor by day and grew up a rancher. Whitney is a single mom of Trinity who is a sick little girl that Quin is trying to help. Trinity needs a kidney in order to live a normal life without all the sickness. Whitney isn't looking for love because she's a teacher, a mother, and doing it alone isn't easy. This is such a heartwarming and inspirational story with some intrigue and mystery tossed in!

Another great story by Sandy. Found it a bit slow to start but once it got going I couldn't put it down.
Only drawback is it was a cliffhanger and need to wait for the next story.
