This book showed me who really had a huge roll in my life besides my parents. Many teachers that I had in my younger yrs of schooling helped me become who i am today. Nancy says,
"It is who we become as a result of the experience, not the experience itself, which is most valuable." (Impact!, 28)
People who have made an impact in my life are teachers, family, coaches, and friends. My coach taught me to speak up, voice my opinion, and not to care what others thought of me. My friends also helped me not to care of what people think of me too. My family helped and watched me grow since i was a baby, They play a major role of who I am today. Finally teachers taught and encouraged me. They helped me learn of my years of education so far in school. The teachers that really impacted my life were math, music, or art teachers. Thanks to those teachers, I am really strong/talented in those areas today. Nancy says,
"The journey of our lives is about becoming who we were meant to be. The experiences of our lives are the vehicles that get us there." (Impact!, 35 & 188)
Nancy D. Solomon is correct that nobody will ever know what impact they have left. Other people, however, will know what impact you have left behind.
For my future, I'm going to decide what choices i make and others i ignore. I'm going to pick which road I am going to take and which road I'm not going to turn on. Even though my dad wants to me become a lawyer and go to this different college, I'm going to stick with my goal. I'm going to become what I want to be and go to the college that I want to go at. For Nancy says,
"Our life is our own best testimonial." (Impact!,47)
"Get more of wahat you want to becoming more of who you are." (Impact!,95)
