How to Draw Unicorns is a very straightforward book with lots of illustrations or drawn diagrams. This is to guide those who want to be able to create unicorn drawings. Fun and exciting. Unicorns are magical and learning to draw them can also be magical. There is a page on how to use the book. A page on drawing tips for newbies. All you need is paper, pencil, an eraser, and something to color you One Of A Kind creations. Remember, no one has seen a Unicorn or the picture you are drawing from. It doesn't have to be as perfect as the picture. It just has to be perfect for you. I drew and colored one Unicorn.

If you have a child who is enamored of unicorns, this book provides an opportunity to lend a creative outlet. Smith encourages young artists to add original details to make their drawings unique. She reminds them to practice over and over as artistic expression is a learning curve.

How To Draw Unicorns
My nine year old granddaughter loved this step by step book on how to draw an unicorn. She went through the whole book. It has easy step by step direction. Really made it simple for her to do it all by herself. Great book. Will be checking out more from Julia Smith.

An ok starter for kids but overall there are better options. This book follows the style of line by line drawing, therefore it lacked instruction and does not cultivate artistic skill or innovate artist creativity.
