Girls like them are expected to dance to the tune of evil.

To smile with the taste of souls in their veins and vengeance in their hearts.

To feed the ghosts and the monsters within them.

Discarded by the world and hidden in a maze of twisted creatures, I’m barely holding into my sanity, trapped between the past and the present.

Between good and evil.

Until one day I no longer recognize myself or them.

He says he can see beyond the evil that I am. But it’s not him that my madness prevails for or HIM.

Because I’m starting to hear their tune, dancing to destruction and chaos.

BOOK TWO IN THE REAPER SAGA SERIES AND we get some new characters along with the ones we had heard of in book 1 but hadn't met them yet. In the beginning, I wasn't able to figure that out but once it unfolded I couldn't stop reading. If you have read the first book and this one, you can clearly notice how much Kate has improved in terms of narration and world building. I loved the narration, mysteries and characters.

It builds up mysteries and suspense til the last chapter. Your head will spin quite a bit and you will probably get frustrated at times with questions but everything will be revealed before the end is near.

The characters aren't your perfect, average superhumans. They all have already been handed down roles that they don't really want to play. Fate plans on testing them all, do they come out on top? I'm still on the fence about Keisha, I get her situation but I loved Emie too much to just let it slide. I appreciate that she helped Lana but I won't be able to forgive her. I miss Emie and Alexei so much, I can't wait for their continuation. The book ends in a HUGE CLIFFHANGER that's driving me insane. I'll be counting down days til I get the third book!

Um I am not sure what I just read. Not in a bad way but in a good way. Have you read a book that messes with your head and as you read you need to go back a few times to make sure that you understood what is going on. Yeah this book did that for me. So we follow 5132 aka Lana and Vermon in this book. We find out some crazy information as in how things were set in motion. There is a lot of action and mystery. You will literally be on edge when you are reading this. You never know what will happen and if we get to find out the answers. I mean there are many twists and turns as well as you trying to figure out if you like a character or not. Needless to say, some were definitely not likable. I am just happy to say that we at least end on a good note. It is crazy good and I really enjoyed this story.

Bound is the second book in the Reapers Saga and is just as suspenseful as Chained was. This book follows the journey of Vermon and 5132. They'll keep you on the edge of your seat that's for sure.

At the beginning when I heard this book is about Lana, Emeline’s sister, I was bummed. All I cared about was what happened to Emeline. But boy I was wrong, I loved this even more than the first one.

In this book we follow Lana (5132) we figure out where she is and how she handles with being a reaper with the help of her ex boyfriend and her beloved.

We also follow a detective Vermon and his partner Aaron who is searching for Lana.

I went into the book nooo as of Emie and I have to admit
I had to reread a few things a few times to get my head caught up to what I was reading partly as I’ve been sick , b and I think as the book didn’t start how I thought it was: from the ending of the other book, also things started to make sense as you continued reading and read about all the new characters and who they were and what they are to each other. But the ending I was like ok it’s ending still got a few questions but questions also been answered then got dropped a big oh shoooot moment and then it ends! Cliffhanger or what ?? .. but a good one ! Can’t wait for the next book!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The characters have so many ups and downs. The images that the descriptions brought to mind were so vivid that I felt like I was there. The back and forth talk between the main characters had me laughing out loud at times. It was a real page turner.
