This book is short but it feels like an average novel in plot! This suspenseful thriller intertwines past and present to tell the story of one terrifying night. Nothing by Kristen Dutkiewicz ever fails to be short of amazing in my eyes and this one did not disappoint! I highly recommend this for fans of dark thrillers and suspenseful plots.

Fast and thrilling

This was such great short story. I was hooked the whole time. I cried somewhere around halfway. The ending was a typical thriller, “OMG” moment. Great tips at the end for real life safety. Enjoyed the quick read.

This was short, and thrilling. And it had me second guessing all my hangovers in my 20’s …when my friends and I would try to piece together the night before over iced coffees and cigarettes. This had me nostalgic for the carefree days, scared about what was happening to Stephanie, and yet thankful that we never had anything like this happen to any of us. Well written… and got the job done when it came to thrills… chills and tequila.

my go-to for novellas

Kristen Dutkiewicz has become my go-to when I’m in the mood for a quick read or need to come out of a reading slump. The texts from last night was the right amount of creepy with enough suspense to keep me hooked.

4.5 stars! I wish it were longer honestly. It had my attention from start to finish, and it read like a short thriller movie. A very quick and fun read, I’m glad I read it Halloween night. 🙌🏻
