Adam is surprised when he is offered a job tutoring the daughter of the rich Dario Vassalo. He finds Vassalo alluring and attractive but Vassalo is married.

Adam himself has a 'friends to just turned lovers' relationship with Victor that is struggling to get off the ground and he wants to see whether he can make a go of it but Vassalo is dark and controlling and always gets what he wants.

Slowly Adam finds himself being brought under Vassalo's dark control as if caught in a web and he begins to realise that Vasslo is a very dangerous man. Passion can be a dangerous thing and behind the passion are dark secrets which Adam unwittingly uncovers.

Adam then has to battle to escape the web in which he finds himself and not just free himself but also others.

This is a fast paced mystery/thriller/romance story which is a little predictable but good to read. My only problem was that it was too fast. There were a few themes and story lines that felt rushed and underdeveloped, and the way everything worked out in the end was just to easy. This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I will definitely read more. He has an easy way of writing and the story is enjoyable and his characters are interesting. I only hope the next one is not so rushed.

Mind Fields-- I am not new to reading m/m romances so when Dylan was asking for people to read and review his book, I gladly volunteered. I am so glad that I did. This story was not all what I was expecting, meaning I thought there was going to be sex in here. There was one scene that was an almost but not quite and a couple of intense kissing scenes. The rest of the story was really good. Don't get me wrong, I love erotic romance but I also like a good love story too!!
Adam never knew his dad, he died before Adam was born. So it has just been him, his mom and his grandparents. He also has his roommate, Casey-a girl, and his best friend Victor, who has been in love with Adam for 3 years but it takes Adam a while to admit that he is actually in love with Victor also. So basically instead of a book filled with sex, it is a true love story. Dario Vassalo is a rich, powerhungry brute!! He offers a job to Adam tutoring his daughter but openly admits he wants Adam and he says what he wants, he gets, also going as far as issuing threats to Adam. And his mom has a stalker!! Well let me tell you, this part of the story was filled with Drama!! I was sitting on the edge of my seat while reading this book and I loved how it played out. I don't really want to say too much because I don't want to give away the storyline. The title of the book comes into play because Adam has all of these different thoughts going on in his mind all of the time. Do I recommend that you read this book? Yes I do. I loved this story Dylan!! Thank you so much for giving me a chance to read it.

Adam thinks he is falling in live with his male best friend but he thinks victor deserves better then him. He gets a mysterious job offer from a beautiful, wealthy Greek god. Adam is going to help his daughter become a writer.

Adam doesn't give into the man, which pisses him off because no one has ever denied him. The guy gets forceful and there is more to this whole situation.

Adam and Victor end up with their HEA after some troubles and turmoil.
