In Love, readers find out who Max loves best. Is it the one who wakes him? The one who takes him for a ride? The one who plays with him? The one who stays with him?
With eye-catching novelty elements, these irresistible board books will introduce the very youngest readers to the beloved bunny pair, who star in their own show on Nick Jr. and Noggin.

Rosemary Wells is an American writer and illustrator of children's books. She often uses animal characters to address real human issues. Some of her most well-known characters are Max & Ruby and Timothy from Timothy Goes To School (both were later adapted into Canadian-animated preschool television series, the former’s airing on Nickelodeon (part of the Nick Jr. block) and the latter’s as part of PBS Kids on PBS).
I'm always looking for new books to read to my granddaughter and finally found this one! She's four so the beautiful little pictures make all the difference! She loves these books and can't wait for us to read another!!
With just enough texture on the page to make them engaging without being intrusive, these books are clever, sweet and funny. In Counting Peas, Max sneezes peas all over. He puts them in his shoe, but eventually is distracted away from his peas by strawberries!
I like these short Baby Max and Ruby board books. There is just a little text and nice illustrations. This one has a rarity - Max and Ruby's parents!! I'd never seen them before! Also cool was that the jelly on the toast at the end was sticky to the touch.
Max loves everyone, and everyone loves Max. This is a cute little rhyming book for toddlers. ------------ I read this on We Give Books (wegivebooks.org), where they donate books to schools when you read books on their site.
This story provides a wonderful to talk to my child about members of the family. It's simple text and engaging pictures make it a great book to read to very young children.
