The Control Project

Rate this book
The ultimate weapon, an unsuspecting population, and the rag-tag group of strangers who must stop it all.
A rogue group of wealthy and powerful people try to eliminate 95% of the world’s population when they create a virus and unleash it onto the unsuspecting population. Their goal is to reduce the world’s population by targeting anyone who’s a descendant of a third-world country or who they consider to be a non-contributing member of society.
Eddie, a homeless man, unwittingly stumbles across the evil plot. His friend Erik agrees to talk to Randy, an old college buddy, turned reporter who agrees to look into the rumors. As Randy digs into the story, his informants are murdered, thrusting him deeper into the conspiracy.
People across the globe begin to die from a strange illness. Lisa Johnson, a CDC administrator, and Randy's ex-girlfriend, soon realizes the illness is more than it seems and begins working with Dr. Matt Thatcher to get to the bottom of what exactly is going on. When they discover the illness is man made, things become even more dangerous.
Alex and Billy, roommates from Dallas, Texas, must flee the city as citizens die and riots begin across the country. They make a perilous cross-country journey to escape the terror gripping Dallas, only to be unknowingly thrust into the middle of everything that's happening.
The group discovers a new threat of fake vaccines designed to sterilize anyone who receives the shot. But with top government officials involved, who can they trust to help save the world?

cool!

Not really sure what I just read here. It’s definitely fast paced and engaging and extremely well written. You can tell the author put a lot of work into this book. As far as apocalyptic fiction goes, if you’re into that kind of thing, this is definitely for you. Humanity has taken an unusual turn and as the stories tend to go, reality is out of control. Larger forces are seeking to control humanity and we all know how that goes when this type of thing happens. I just wish it had a better cover to match the excellent writing.

I really enjoyed this book. It really made me think about life and how little control I actually have. With everything that is happening in the world, the premise of this book is very plausible. I highly recommend you read this book.

Scary tale

Wow! What a creepy thing if a group of affluent people decided to eliminate everyone in the world. Hopefully nothing like this would happen. The book is a real page turner and it sends chills down my spine. Great tale
