The kids are all gone, and the house is finally yours... In this story it is not what I expected at all. There were times that the story would start and it was as if the thought didn't complete. You would hear part of a memory but not all of it, which has you wondering why mention it. Yes, it has absolute funny moments and they make you laugh out loud shaking your head. The story is well written in grammatical terms and the characters are well developed. But for me this one felt incomplete. I love K.C. Rice's work normally. It is absolutely a joy to read the works but this one just doesn't work for me.

Holy Cow!

Ok. I'm KC's oldest sister and I can remember some of these escapades. The romper was teal blue terrycloth and looked really good on her. I remember her telling about her outdoor potty adventure and finding the bathroom just a few yards down the road.

KC, keep on with your "adventures". I love my own kids, but when they grew up and out, it was wonderful to just be a couple again with my own husband.

Great and very entertaining read. I laughed so hard I wet my pants!

This book was not was I was expecting! It is filled with anecdotal moments of a couple rediscovering their passion for life and each other. Most are easily relatable and the funny moments between the two characters are GOLD!

A funny look into the shenanigans of a couple whose children have grown up and left home leaving them an empty nest. They rediscover their love and zest for life in a hilarious way. It is not like a regular book though this is told as a series of events. You will have some LOL moments so buckle up!

A laugh riot!

Reading this book had me laughing and giggling more than I have in ages. The romance is fiery and the oops moments will make you laugh or cringe with embarrassment for Lisa and Alex.
