When you start a new job, your boss knows everything about you, at least everything in your CV and background checks. But you don’t get the same detail on your boss or fellow workers. You don’t know their motivation for employing you or working alongside you. Hilary starts her new job as Press and Media Manager within a Yorkshire Health and Social Services Directorate. Whilst preparing her first article for the internal magazine, Mental Health Matters, a coincidental conversation with a colleague initiates a complicated chain of events beyond her control. This leads to the exposure of a shocking secret suppressed in 1984. Can Hilary trust her colleagues and the various agencies as she battles to reveal who is responsible for seizing the evidence and deliberately hiding the truth?

As his management consultancy work slowed during COVID lockdown 2020/2021 Tim decided to focus on writing a novel called Seized Deliberately. A psychological mystery with a real twist.
Tim had planned to wait until 19th July 2021 to do a physical book launch with a release from lockdown theme. But instead he went for a virtual launch as a lockdown legacy theme in early July 2021.
Unlike the various reports he has written throughout his career this is a work of fiction. Although some may disagree. Therefore to be clear any opinions expressed are those of the characters and should not be confused with the author’s.
