There's really nothing in this book that you can't find from any budgeting website. The big exception to that was the idea that every time you buy food, you're trading money for energy. So if you buy a food that doesn't give you nutrients and energy in exchange for your money, you're wasting your grocery budget.
That idea really got me back on track in terms of examining what we buy when we grocery shop. But other than that, I'd suggest doing some Google searches to find all the same information in more concise of situation-specific formats.
There are some great tips to start the reader off on "Eating Well on a Budget." I mostly scanned through the book to see what I could do that I wasn't doing already. My state does not allow double couponing so some of the tips do not work for me. I looked through the recipe section and saw a few I would like to make later on.
