Primrose Jackson, Prim to her friends, is trying to turn her life around. She has promised herself to do better, but she can't remember anything from the previous night after partying with her friends, Heather and Brooke. To make matters worse, her mother has informed her that Heather's husband, Shaun Thomas, was found dead, floating in the Jensens' swimming pool. The party from the previous night was at the Jensens home.

Everything seems to get worse when all three friends get a text saying, "I know what you did last night!" Since Prim does not remember anything from the previous evening, she doesn't know how to react to the text. It seems that neither Heather nor Brooke remembers much from the night either. Shaun was rumored to be cheating on Heather and Prim wonders if that was the reason behind his death.

Who killed Shaun? Why was he killed? Who is sending the mysterious text messages? Is Prim guilty or is she being framed? How about her friends? Can Prim expose the real culprit or will she be made to take the fall?

L.A. Dobbs has a wonderful suspense novel with Cheaters Chase. The characters are very realistic and the suspense will keep readers guessing clear to the end.

Primrose Jackson is trying to put her life back together. She has made not so great life choices. She is attempting to rebuild her relationship with her mother. She returns to Liars Island broke and broken.
She has two friends that she tries to help. When Heather learns her husband is cheating on her, Prim and Brooke try to stand by her with love and support.

Heather’s husband is murdered after a party. Someone is planting evidence, could it be Prim or Brooke who can’t remember anything after arriving at the party?

I figured out what was going on pretty early in the story but I was impressed with the way the author portrayed the story.

I really liked that her mother is there for her but Prim fails to see it. Prim is suffering from low self-esteem.

Cheater's Chase is a fantastic mystery set in the Liars Island World. This is a stand alone mystery and you do not need to read any of the other books in the series, they just share a location.

Primrose (Prim) goes home to Liars Island trying to put the pieces of her life back together but things seem to go from bad to worse. Her friend Heather finds out her husband is cheating on her and he ends up murdered. Meanwhile Prim is also trying to work on her relationship with her mother that has been broken over the years.

This mystery played out very well. It was perfectly executed. The plot was perfectly paced and the fact that Prim could not remember anything about the night of the murder had me guessing the whole book through.

I really liked this mystery and the characters that were dynamic, flawed and fleshed out.

Cheaters Chase is a great mystery by L. A. Dobbs. Primrose Jackson has returned to her Mom's home on Liars Island. She has not made great choices in the past but is trying to straighten her life out. She visits her friend, Heather Thomas, and is told that Heather's husband, Shaun, is cheating on her. Prim, Heather and their friend, Brooke, decide to have a "girls night out" and go to a party at the Jensen's. The next day, Violet, Prim's Mom, tells her that Shaun drowned at the Jensen's party. Prim couldn't remember wha
t she did at the party. Neither can Heather or Brooke. What really happened at the party? Did Prim do something? Did she murder Shaun?
This is a great book by L. A. Dobbs. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Cheaters Chase

This is another book in the Liars Island series and I really enjoyed reading it just as I have all the other ones. One thing about this series is that each book can be read alone or you can read them all at once. These books are short and very interesting and I know you will enjoy reading them as well

The mystery is very well executed and it kept me totally in the dark until the end. I liked the characters and watching Prim and her Mother's relationship heal as the story went along. Look forward to reading more in the Liar's Island series.

Disappointing story in the Liar's series. Three best friends are hungover from a party and one of them now has a dead husband. Who killed him & who is blackmailing them? A little disjointed and the phrase "deer caught in headlights" was overused in this short story.

I have only read 2 in this series even though they are standalone’s they are amazing. Have their own characters and twist. One of my favorite.

Quick easy read. Well written and many many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I guessed the ending from the first 20 some pages, but it was still a fun ride.
