Will we ever learn?

The world is devastated by plague and strive. A few of the remaining are trying to create a place of peace in this terrific novel by Maurice Perkins. I found this novel to be very thought provoking as I looked at the events of the world around me. I wondered if perhaps Maurice Perkins might have seen into the future. I loved this book!

Although this is not really my genre, there was a lot of food for thought in this dystopian novel. A post-apocalyptic world with some intriguing characters, lots of action and an environmental message.

It seems inevitable at this point, that such a scenario will present itself in the future. And by the looks of how our leaders are more inclined to protect their special interest groups over their public duty, it seems likely that the response would be inadequate. This was a really compelling read. I enjoyed it.

Thought provoking

Thoroughly enjoyed this novel even though dystopian type novels are not normally my cup of tea. Believable characters and very thought provoking.
