Currie is an author, radio host and interpersonal communication expert who acts as a personal consultant for many single men and women in the United States and Internationally. Currie has appeared on the popular television talk show, 'The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet' and has also been featured in Essence magazine, one of the best-selling magazines for African-American men and women. Currie is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and has conducted a number of classes and workshops on improving interpersonal communication skills between the genders. Currie is single and currently resides in Northwest Indiana.

About the author

Beginning with May 1999, Alan Roger Currie was the first Red Pill Dating Coach associated with 'The Manosphere' and his nickname is 'The Godfather of Direct Verbal Game Advice & Wisdom' because of the expert-level advice he shares with his clients.

Currie received the highest ratings for all speakers featured at both the Direct Dating Summit UK (November 2010 in London) and the Direct Dating Summit USA (March 2012 in Las Vegas) in surveys conducted by Event Organizer "Sasha Daygame" among the men who attended both events. Currie has acted as a dating coach and interpersonal communication consultant for men from twenty-five different countries, and he has been interviewed on local, regional, and national radio and television.

Currie was the host of the popular internet talk radio podcast show, "Upfront & Straightforward with Alan Roger Currie," which was the most listened to talk radio show in the category of “Romance” and Dating & Relationships on the BlogTalkRadio Internet Radio Network for six of the nine years the show was active. Currie has also been a freelance writer for The Examiner.com and The NegroManosphere.com.

Currie’s primary specialty is teaching men how to overcome their fear of being rejected by women, how to overcome their fear of receiving adverse reactions and/or harsh, subjective criticisms from women, how to recognize women’s body language signals of interest and disinterest, and how men can train and regulate the tone and overall quality of their voice to use “erotic dirty talk” to arouse and verbally seduce women. This is a fantastic book! The author is very intelligent in his writing and It is a supplement to MODE ONE. It expands on the book in a very concise manner. After MODE ONE, UPFRONT AND STRAIGHTFORWARD is a must read! Hopefully one day, Alan Roger Currie, will be courteous enough to make these two books into one. In this way, the brilliantly written books will be read as one complete subject.
In this book, Currie teaches both men and women how to quickly and effectively identify when members of the opposite sex are attempting to employ manipulative 'head games' against them.
Upfront and Straightforward dissects the mind games of manipulative men and women and their psychology as well. The truth of the matter is, manipulative women exist and they are mostly the REALLY good-looking ones too. And why not? Most of them are spoiled and always get what they want from thirsty beta males. However, a real man WILL not play those childish games and simply be a man when it comes to interacting with them because as you will learn, it's your way or the highway. Her needs and wants are NOT more important than yours.
