It has taken me two years to work through this book in detail. I feel that I know every line of it by now. In the interim Microsoft has released VWDE2010 and 2011, the silverlight toolkit, and the silverlight business application template, with all the new page-navigation-inside-a-xap features. This book was ahead of its time. Unfortunately now it is behind the times.

What I can say is that almost everything I know about SL4 for business apps and WCF RIA, is as a result of struggling with the examples in this book. For that I am enormously grateful to Nick Lecrenski.
