Moving Forward

Rate this book
Becoming a father at just eighteen is something I never imagined for myself. I'd do anything for my daughter, including lay my life on the line for her. When tragedy strikes, I know I need to make changes and become the parent she needs and deserves. I had so many plans for my future, but as we all know, nothing happens the way you expect it to.
A savior swooped in and vowed to protect my son and me from the evil that destroys this world. Trying not to fall for my hero is hard, moving forward is going to be even harder.
Alfonso Rufus knows pain and tragedy all too well.
Will he be able not to fall for the damsel in distress while protecting her son and his daughter from harm?
Will moving forward be possible without her becoming someone permanent in his life?

I read all three of these and have to say that this one was by far the strongest of the trio. Malone doesn't pull any punches in the gritty department and doesn't shy away from killing off characters either. This is a high octane ride and not for the faint hearted. If you like action packed books with a dash of romance this is a good one to grab.

I am loving this author. I've read every one of her books so far and look forward to more.
The ups and downs in Alfonso's life had me biting my nails and rooting for him. Again, I love how this author finds unique ways to give us readers some conflict and angst. I will read everything she writes.

this book was really heart breaking to read! it dealt with abuse and drugs. he finds out hes going to be a father before going off to war. than something bad happens and he must come home to take care of his daughter. only there is a woman who is living through hell now with no way out. you must read to find out what happens.
