Okay so my book was actually a crazy misprint— pages 125-156 were missing randomly. I was still able to keep up with the whole thing though, an easy read that was informative enough to make me feel like i was learning about inuit culture without feeling like reading a nonfiction book. Solid 3 stars

I would rate this book a solid 5 stars because it is really detailed and tells a lot of things about hockey and life in the north. This book has taught me alot about life in the north that I did not know about. This book also inspires people to never give up. This book has taught me about friendship and is a really good book. I recommend people to read this book. It is a great book if you want mystery and hockey together in one book. It is a really good book. The main character is Gear a wealthy businessman and his best friend Reuben, a really good hockey player there is a tournament they are joining that will get them a lot of money but there is more at stake than just money prize this a little part of the book which seemed interesting to me so i read this book.

Quick read, good hockey descriptions, and an interesting mystery to solve made this an entertaining read. Good for reluctant readers. Some indigenous content provides facts about the North, and the people living in Inuvik.

Reuben Reuben likes to play hockey. He plays for the Edmonton Oil Kings. His best friend Gear ( a wealthy man) is one of his biggest fans. He goes to every game and loves to watch him play. When Gear sets Reuben Reuben up with a three on three pond hockey tour Reuben Reuben finds out it is more than just a hockey tour. Along the way he finds out how his grandfather dies. Every game he travels to he gets a clue by a person about how his grandfather died. Personally this is one of my favorite books. I would definitely recommend this book to people. It is great!

I really liked the fast-paced nature of this book. I also liked how the hockey story and the mystery were woven into one. I'd love to know if the descriptions of the games and plays ring true for hockey-playing boys.

A pretty good book that taught me a lot about the north and had me wondering what would happen next after each page.
