This book had an interesting premise, which is that of a man who attempts to forget his lost love by engaging in a series of affairs. However, the story is quite boring and none of the characters are particularly likable. It reads more like a collection of bad short stories rather than a coherent, unified novel. Pass on this one.

A slacker chef goes on a quest to run through as many women as possible after the breakup from his long time girlfriend. Turns out, he doesn't have as much "game" as he thought.
Jaramillo encourages the reader to think about the question, "What is Love?" Is love the heart pounding feeling or the quiet comfort of a well known friend.
The novel is broken up with flashback scenes of conquests past while Carl the Cook mulls over his current love/sex situation.
