The Fox's seem like the perfect couple-so why did Keith Fox disappear without a word to his loving wife, Katie? Leigh-Ann, Nora, and Liz are on the case, trying to find the missing husband.
Fun Cozy Mysteries, Paranormal Mysteries (with a fantasy twist) all set on the Florida Coast. A Romantic Christian Series, with a strong sense of family set in upstate New York. These are the stories Victoria writes.
A hopeless animal lover, Victoria adds plenty of cats and dogs in each book, and her love of gardening shows through the characters. As a storyteller, it is important for Victoria to draw the reader into the story; to make you feel the sultry tropical heat or the numbing cold of the north.
Victoria and her husband live in South Florida and own a landscape garden service. Two feisty cats make themselves at home, usually on her desk as she writes.
A lover of a good mystery, she is an avid reader and likes to be outdoors. When she is not reading, you may find her working on a needlepoint project.
Leigh-Ann Hackett is the clandestine owner of the Tattle-tale restaurant. When she and her friends notice one of the customers looking upset, they intrude on her privacy to find out what's wrong. Her husband has mysteriously disappeared and the police have no idea where he is. Thanks to Leigh-Ann's contacts still in the corporate world that she left after her husbands death. She was able to figure out some of the things that had evaded the police' observations.
This is the second of the Tattle-Tale mysteries.
It is the first one that I've read. It is a mostly enjoyable story that is a stand alone book.
The story has developed characters and a good plotline.
The only real issue I had was at the end where the three friends set out to rescue the missing man without letting the police in on the plan to help insure the safety of all three of the ladies who set out for the rescue.
Leigh-Ann Hackett works as a waitress on the Tattle-Tale Cafe and it's there where she find out that Katies' husband has gone missing, and she does not know why!
So, thats when the usual Tattle -Tale Cafe ladies decide they will help Katie find what happened, as the police does not have a clue to why he dissapeared.
Leigh-Ann's went to her corporate contacts that helped her before in the Missing Toys Mystery and found some people that could be interested in what Keith produced. So thats when the ladies are able to find out what had happened in this strange case!
This is book number two of the Tattle-Tale mysteries. Its a great book and is becoming one of Ms Williams great series!
A true cozy mystery! A great book that you can kick out in a couple of days that has a nice, clean, non-violent story. It's what cozy mysteries began as until they morphed into always having to have someone murdered. I'm so tired of reading books that gloss over someone getting killed just to sell a story. It's so wonderfully refreshing to just read a story about a mystery with no cursing, killing or sex. Highly recommended for the discerning reader who prefers to read a quality mystery without compromising their own moral values.
Her Missing Husband is the second book in the Tattle-Tale Mystery series by Victoria LK Williams.
The husband of a couple that frequented the Tattle-Tale Restaurant went missing. Leigh-Ann, Nora, and Liz step in to help the wife. This was a quick read with nice characters doing good things to help others and it just made me feel happy having read it.
I’ve purchased the first book to read next time I need a pick-me-up.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Leigh-Ann Hackett is a lady on a mission to get to the truth when one of her friend's husbands goes missing in an unexpected, sudden way. While others are spreading nasty gossip, the sleuth convinces her friends to help her get to the bottom of what happened. With a bit of investigating, snooping and determination, foul play of some sort is suspected, though nobody fears Keith is dead or has done anything hurtful behind his wife's back. This novella makes a great, quick read for cozy lovers and can be read as a stand alone.
It starts with a funny foreword, so that sets the tone! I’d like to say, though, that no cat EVER thinks of a human as boss LOL!
You can read this second book in the series perfectly well as a standalone. The story has got a great cozy feel to it and I immediately took to the main character Leigh-Ann. It’s a novella, so a fast read, but well worth your time!
The warm and inviting Floridian setting in this series entices me to dream about a beach vacation. Leigh-Ann, the main character, is an intelligent woman with an expert nose for solving puzzles. I highly recommend this book and series.
