Sweet Temptation is just what the title says - a sweet temptation. It’s a cute book with just the right amount of angst. Nate and Eden are immediately drawn to each other, but there are so many obstacles in between them and their happy ever after.
My only complaint is that it does have quite a few editing errors and needs to be professionally edited. Some of the typos did verge on the confusing side, particularly when referring to times (a few times a.m. and p.m. were mixed up)
All in all, this is a sweet, tempting (see what I did there?) book that’s definitely for fans of age-gap, student teacher romances!

Sweet Temptation is the debut novel by Kelly Kelsey. Eden’s been living with an addict parent, taking care of both of them when her absent father decides to swoop in and "save the day", bringing her to a new town and a new life to redo her senior year of high school. Eden decides to let off some steam by going to a bar with her fake ID and meets this wonderfully hot man, Nate, with whom she has an instant connection. And while she doesn’t go home with him, she does give him her phone number. Everything is starting to look up, until she walk into class two weeks later and sees her hot guy, Mr. Nate Davenport, her English teacher.

This book was just freakin’ fantastic! It makes it even more exciting when it’s a debut author and I now have another go-to for a great read. I’ve read a lot of student/teacher romances, and this one certainly rates up there. I loved Eden. She’s not your usual shy, virgin heroine. She’s hard as nails, knows what she wants, and doesn’t let anyone push her around - not her father and not Nate. Nate is definitely cocky and confident, but also a sweetie. He really does try to stay away from Eden, but the attraction and possessiveness makes it difficult for him to resist. He’s been through a lot, some of which is by the hands of Eden’s father. Definitely lots of drama going on and super angsty, but not to the point where you felt it was drama for the sake of drama. The chemistry between Eden and Nate is off the charts from the beginning and their smexy times are smokin’ hot.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: taboo/studen/teacher
Angst: 😰😰😰😰
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Triggers: parental addiction

DNF - h is an 18 yr old virgin high schooler who is running circles around a (very weak) grown man (her teacher). She’s a ball buster and way more confident than makes sense for her years and experience. Not for me.

Eden is a young girl that's had to take care of herself and mother all her life, causing her to move in with her estranged father and repeat senior year of high school. Depressed she meets a hot stranger in the bar who ends up being Nate her English teacher. Nate and Eden have instant chemistry and fight whether to take the risk of having a relationship. I loved how forbidden their relationship was on multiple aspects because of the complex relationship Nate had with her family. Eden is still legal so there is nothing to worry about in that regard but both people have things to lose by being together. Nate resisted for half the book delivering a medium burn which felt right in terms of pacing and gave plenty of room for some descriptive steamy scenes. Eden is a beauty but very fierce one that makes Nate work for her attention. I would definitely read more by this author!

I don’t really know what to say. I was fully about to DNF this at 38%. It started off terribly. I did not like the writing style at all. It seemed completely childish. I was absolutely hating it but I kept reading in hope for a change. Nope.

There was a scene where the MMC’s best friend (Trent) was really misogynistic and it really annoyed me. “Sweetheart, when a woman looks like you, self-control is non-existent.” Do not get me started on all the ways this is wrong. What the fuck. This pisses me off so much. You don’t understand how much I hate it. The fact this book is written by a woman and the character who says this (Trent) is respectable and loveable. It’s really maddening that he just stated it casually as a fact.

The MMC was really annoying. Hard to read annoying. He was so full of himself at the beginning and it derailed from there. Some of the quotes I highlighted from him are just hard to go back and read. “Call it ego but it’s truth. I am aware of the effect I have on women, but it had become boring. Easy.” wtf get over yourself. That quote makes me think he’s a bad person, not a charming man. Especially when he hangs around with misogynistic friends. He kept throwing around the “she’s mine” even though they barely knew each other. they had had one conversation and he was already so possessive like “no one can touch what is mine” like dude really. I was so ready to DNF.

It got worse, I hate the FMC. She is so annoying. Every time she spoke I cringed. She thinks she’s top shit and it pisses me off. She’s such a pick me. “Then I pick myself up as if nothing happened. Just like I’ve always done.” Her vibes were off. She’s just really annoying to read. I got so much second-hand embarrassment from her, him and the whole book really. I think the author is just bad at writing. I was getting 12-year-old wattpad girly vibes. Oh and also this quote: “I I I I I’m sorry.” WTF did I just read. With 5 I’s. No. What in the 2016 wattpad. The second-hand embarrassment from the dialogue was overwhelming.

Let me share some of my favourite quotes. “When she spoke, it went straight to my dick.” What is ‘it’? This is just a poorly constructed sentence. “Eden…brought out my animal instincts.” What in the werewolf wattpad. Rawr get out. “If you weren’t such a pussy, you could have my pussy.” Just no. Who would say this. Ever. Like what. If someone said that to me that would be an immediate ick. “And if he has a problem, then whatever, I mentally add.” What. That sentence, once again, doesn’t make grammatical sense. “I feel things for her Trent.” Who are you? Twelve year old boys? Ooohhh your feelys? 🥺 “Breathtaking, in the literal sense.” ? What other sense would you be talking about? “Suck on the full pink flesh.” I’m actually crying. Ew. Who talks about lips/kissing like that? You sound like you have a flesh fetish. “I will my dick to soften, hoping somehow it has grown ears and can hear me.” Just what. What. Why oh why did the author think this was a great idea. “Does this mean we’re dating then?” This just annoyed me as she asked this minutes after they slept together for the first time. Like bro what are you on. “He better not have touched what’s mine.” I hear this accompanied with a growl. The second-hand embarrassment ugh. Not okay ❌.

He had a concerning obsession with her virginity. “She better still be a virgin. ‘Is it? Still the case? I ask urgently, anger rising.” He was so obsessed with taking her virginity. It was creepy. Like multiple paragraphs just on about ‘oh I’m about to take her virginity’ and ‘this is the moment I take her virginity’. It was really weird to read and I felt uncomfortable. “I’m finally going to fuck her virgin pussy.” Again. Virginity. He is so obsessed. “This is it, the moment I take her virginity, make her mine.” Like wtf I was so uncomfortable. “I thrust through the thin membrane burying myself to the hilt.” Did this author not have sex education? She talks about him stopping because he ‘feels’ the hymen, and then breaking it. Like no?? That’s not how it works. 1. Virginity is a construct - the hymen breaks very easily (not by having sex) and it breaks in order to have a period. It’s very easy to break through tampons, cycling and dancing (spoiler: shes a dancer). Virtually no one has an intact hymen. This book is just so factually incorrect it hurts to read. 2. As if he could feel it. Like seriously. There is a 0.001% chance he can feel it. The fact the author described him feeling the hymen and then breaking through it. Gross. No. 3. It pissed me off so much how the whole chapter was him talking about taking her virginity. It honestly made me want to DNF right then and there. “Just like that, her virginity belonged to me.” Like no? Nothing ‘belongs’ to you. He pissed me off. Virginity is stupid. “I want to see your innocence mixed with my cum.” This is just downright creepy and disgusting. He was talking about her blood. Just no. If a man said that to me I would be running out that door so fast.

This book was hard to continue reading. “His monster cock.” I hate this so much. Throwing up in my mouth. Why. What was the reason? The author uses too many unnecessary adjectives for his dick. (Big, huge, long and thick - all in one sentence.) “Her little hole.” Immediately no. “Breathe through your nose, this won’t take long.” I’m no expert in sex, but that doesn’t sound like something you say to someone who is giving you a blowjob. It sounds like you’re raping them or they’re uncomfortable and you’re trying to comfort them. Weird. “I may have worn her out with the number of times I’ve taken her in the last twenty-four hours.” I hate that phrase. ‘taken her’ ew bleh. He’s so full of himself. “I’ve been inside her so many times since taking her virginity, it’s a miracle she can function at all.” ? What. Bro what. How weird do you have to be to think that. Once again, virginity - what is that obsession.

And then came the 3 years later epilogue. Oh my that was something. To sum it up, they’re married, she’s pregnant, her Dad and Mum are dating again and Declan and Nate have an ok relationship. What a 180 that was. “I had been in her so many times on that honeymoon, I would have been shocked if she wasn’t pregnant.” Ew I hate ‘in her.’ Also author (it’s clear you haven’t had any sex education), it doesn’t matter how much you have sex, if it’s not the right time in your cycle, the chance to get pregnant can be practically non-existent. Also, 2 sentences later, they say they were going to wait to try for children. This doesn’t make sense. 1. Earlier she said she was on birth control. 2. He says he ‘would have been shocked if she wasn’t pregnant.’ but she was on birth control? So she purposely got off birth control yet you’re not shocked she’s pregnant? But why would she be off birth control? You guys want to wait before trying for children. Just trying to figure it out sorry. After they found out they were having twins he says “I just grinned and puffed out my chest - I clearly have superior sperm.” What in the macho man is this. ‘puffed out his chest.’ and ‘superior sperm’ ew ew ew. What. No one says that. Ever. Author, ‘superior sperm’ has nothing to do with whether or not she has twins. Please please please get some proper sex education.

It really annoyed me how she wrote a lot of these characters. One character that I particularly hated, was Brax. Now I know he was written to be a really bad person who was terrible to women, but honestly there is a difference on making a character a bad person, and writing a book that is just full of disrespectful comments about women and minors, and giving people the wrong ideas about what is right in the world. I hated hated hated Brax and I hated that no one said anything or did anything to stop him. He was really inappropriate. Newsflash: when someone threatens to or alludes to drugging and raping you - call the police. Especially when it is an old man saying creepy comments to an 18-year-old girl. “There is a particular young pussy I wouldn’t mind impaling on my cock.” Run. Run girl. Who talks like this? It’s creepy and I would be sprinting away. He also said “barely legal pussy just does something to me.” He could very easily become a child predator who grooms minors. He is so creepy and deserves jail time. It pissed me off that Declan never did or said anything even after Eden went to him multiple times about it. Brax just continually threatened to drug and rape her, and even assaulted her a few times. Like bitch go to the police. The fact that Camilla threatened Eden WITH Brax had me dumbfounded. Who does that? Don’t even get me started on their relationship. The whole brother x sister thing is so weird. They are both psycho, it was no reason to kidnap her (more on that later). I don’t understand how no one else picked up on all their red flags.

Honestly, the first half of the book the writing style was so bad. I can’t explain it. It was just so childish and hard to read. It brought the whole book down. The idea had potential. With the right author it could be amazing, but this author just can not write. The writing style was the reason I wanted to DNF. But, I told myself I would read until their first sex scene. I was intrigued. I think it’s good that I did. It was really weird as after the first sex scene, the writing drastically changed. As if a whole new author picked up the book and continued writing. The second half was SO MUCH BETTER. I actually half enjoyed reading the story. I guess it was good that I made myself read until then, but also not as this book was a whole waste of my time. Multiple times I just put the book down and groaned out loud because I could not read any further.

Funnily enough, I was reading through some reviews, trying to see if anyone had the same thoughts that I did (no one did), but I did stumble upon someone who had the exact opposite thoughts. In their review they stated that the book started off strong but after the first sex scene the writing style changed and the book derailed from there. The writing style change saved the book for me. I thought it as funny that we were the complete opposite. I’m sitting here thinking ‘thank god for that writing style change’ or I most likely would have DNF’d the book soon after. I’m not going to lie, I kinda enjoyed the book by the end, and that is why I considered changing my rating from a 1 to a 2.

I actually got invested and intrigued by the end. The whole kidnapping plot line was weird, unnecessary, and out of the blue. However, I enjoyed it because it added some spice to a very bland book. The thing that really shocked me was the fact that Nate just told Declan that he was dating his daughter. Just like that, even though they’ve been keeping it a secret. I guess it was for the greater good. I get he was worried and needed to do what he needed to do to find Eden, but it was still very surprising.

I lowkey loved Declan at the end, and how he showed that he did actually care about Eden. The fact he took a bullet for her, helped her Mum, and gave Nate his money? Talk about character development. I thought something suspicious was going on with her Mum in rehab and how she wasn’t allowed to talk to her. Like Declan was hiding something. I actually believe the author was planning on making Declan the bad guy and do something bad with her Mum, but decided against it at the end and was too lazy to go back and change the many many clues that something wasn’t right with her Mum. It was really weird.

Although I didn’t like Nate that much, I really respected him in this one moment. “No buts Eden. You lied. Do not message me again. Do not call me. Delete my number. This cannot happen. Forget we ever met.” This was right after he found out she was his student. I respect him for this, as he was still attracted to her but knew it was wrong so denied her. Of course, he gave up on this mentality in the next few chapters, but it was nice while it lasted and I respect him for trying.

God, I’ve been writing this review for 2 hours but I’m glad I got all my venting out. Overall, this book was painful to read and I will not be recommending.

🌸Age gap romance
🌸 Forbidden/taboo romance

Nate is a 28 yo English teacher who meets 18yo Eden James in a bar weeks before school begins.
Instant lust strikes but when they meet each other in school what happens?

It's a well crafted forbidden age gap romance with a lot of erotica. It didn't look forced but was natural.
The way rumour/gossip spreads when people are suspicious has been shown well. Also, society and especially a father who also happens to be Dean of the school, doesn't accept it is correctly portrayed.I mean just because you and I loved the couple doesn't mean the dad is on board too, now,is it?
Specially when said Dad is with Nate's ex-fiancée,Camilla and has screwed him over an app they developped together.

Almost until 85% of the story,I wasn't sure what Camilla and Brax, her brother were doing in the story other than giving both Eden and me,the creeps.
But,I don't want to spoil anyone further, let's just say I didn't see that coming 😳

From here on out,it was really good and the pieces fell in place about why what happened, had to happen and did happen.

The epilogue was split into months later and years later and with both POVs which I loved because I usually prefer a good closure which lets me read it as a standalone but I also found that there could be possible stories for characters we met here which has me excited to read them!

Editing is definitely required which was the only point that made me sad.

5 Steamy Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love taboo books, forbidden romance, student/teacher relationships, age-gaps and possessiveness! And this definitely fits the bill for each. If you’re into those, as well, this is a must read. I highly recommend.

Kelly covers all the S’s in the book - Secrets, Suspense, Sexual Tension, Seduction & Steamy AF!

The book is well-written, the plot of the story keeps you invested and there is great character build up for Eden and Nate. They both find each other at difficult points in both of their lives, with instant connection & chemistry. After a steamy one-night stand, they meet again. But not as Eden and Nate, as Eden & Mr. Davenport - her new teacher. I don’t want to give too much away. Kelly Kelsey really writes a well thought out story line. It definitely is a Sweet Temptation…

I received as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve just finished this age gap forbidden romance book! I enjoyed the story a lot.

It’s a student/teacher romance with a 10 year age gap! I love a bit of forbidden so this was perfect for me.

It was about Eden & Nate who meet in a bar and are then unexpectedly reunited two weeks later in Nate’s classroom! There is so much more to the story than just their relationship tho.. there’s family issues, a crazy ex, friends hooking up.. I loved all the drama!

This was a really good book and it’s the debut novel for Kelly! 💗

Great read

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down. Eden has to move to go live with her father. She meets Nate who she ends up falling for. They shouldn’t have a relationship but they just don’t care. This book is full of steam and drama. Read the book to find out why Eden and Nate shouldn’t be together. Also find out about what happens when they do get together.

Kelly Kelsey you have found your calling as an Author because this debut novel was perfection.
Sweet Temptation is a forbidden teacher / student romance story that you will absolutely want to devour, I know I did.
With an absent father and an addict mother, 18 year old Eden has been struggling for years.
When suddenly her absent father shows up to offer an ultimatum which sees her moving to a new town to redo her senior year.
Before school starts she has a chance meeting with the gorgeous Nate Davenport in a bar. However, two weeks later both of them are utterly shocked to discover Nate is her English teacher.
I absolutely adored both of these characters and the instant connection and sizzling chemistry that they shared.
I loved that Eden was a reasonably mature 18 year old girl who had a serious backbone. She didn't let anyone push her around, and knew what she wanted and fought for it.
And Nate..... Oh Boy....
This protective alpha man may be seriously confident and act a little on the cocky side but damn he was also sweet, understanding and oh so swoony.
While both Nate and Eden have been, or are going through a lot personally, they find a beautiful peace, happiness, solace and forever in each other.
Along side the forbidden romance is some angst, drama, and some twists and turns that had me gasping with shock and surprise.
Loved this read.

Highly Recommend!
Looking forward to the next Kelly Kelsey book.

Sweet Temptation lives up to its title, the storyline is seductive, enticing, and hot. What I loved about this book is that Kelly Kelsey has added a really good suspense element to Eden and Nate's story.

This is an age gap romance, but only 10 years, but Nate is Eden's teacher, the pair had met in a bar when Eden is forced to go and live with her dad, the Dean of a prestigious school where Nate teaches. This is slight predictability at the start, where Nate thinks Eden is older, but when they meet again there is nothing predictability about the story that unfolds. Eden is drawn to Nate, but he keeps blowing hot and cold, she hates living with her dad, who abandoned her and her mom years before, leaving behind a broken home, one in which Eden became the main carer for her mom, as she found consolidation in alcohol. Now Eden's dad has given her the chance by helping her mom but it comes with the price of her having to redo her last year of school at his school.

The plot of the story is really cleverly done, Nate also hates Eden's dad, I am not going to give anything away here as to what it was. The chemistry between the two though can't be stopped, and as they spend time together their feelings for each other grow. But all is not what it seems and danger is lurking around the corner.

I love a good age gap/taboo romance book. If that’s your jam then this is a book for you.

Eden has had a rough few years. It’s been her and her mother trying to survive since her dad left for a younger woman. Eden’s mother has been on a downward spiral causing Eden to essentially grow up and take on the role of parent. Now, at 18 her dad has finally come back into her life. They strike a deal that entails Eden repeating her senior year at Regis Saints Academy, where her father is Dean, while her mother seeks treatment for her drug and alcohol addiction.

Nate is a handsome English teacher at Regis Saints. His true passion is app development. Just waiting on his big break so he can quit teaching. He was burned in the past and isn’t about to let that happen again.

A chance meeting prior to the start of the school year sparks an intense attraction between Eden and Nate. He’s her teacher who she shouldn’t be so attracted to. She’s his student who is off limits. However, they can’t deny the chemistry they have making it all the more difficult to follow the rules.

Their lives are interconnected more than they could have ever imagined. Common adversaries threaten to derail everything. How will they make it all work? You’ll have to read to find out😉.

Forbidden age gaps are one of my go-to tropes, so Sweet Temptation by Kelly Kelsey is right up my alley.
This standalone is full of secret trysts and sexual tension that’s through the roof.

"She is a temptation. A damn sweet one. I don't know how much longer I can resist."

✏Age Gap (18/28)
🖤Student Teacher
✏Forbidden
🖤Virgin Heroine
✏Jealous Possessive

Eden’s eighteen years old.
She has been taking care of her drug-addicted mother for four years, and because of that, she failed her senior year.
Now she’s forced to start over at a new school and live with the father that abandoned her.

Nate’s fiance of 6 years cheated on him, and he just found out she’s engaged.
So what does Nate do?
He goes to a bar to drink away his sorrows.
While there, he meets Eden, and there’s an instant connection between them.

So imagine the shock when they meet again. However, instead of being referred to as Nate, her sexy, one-night stand, he is Mr. Davenport - her new English teacher.

I couldnt put this book down once I started! Eden has dealt with a lot of crap in her young life. Her dad left, and her mom lost it and turned into an addict. She basically has to parent her parent. One day, her dad shows up to visit ( and introduce his new soon to be wife) and sees how bad Edens life is and that she wasnt graduating high school. He decides she is to attend the school he is Dean at, and he would pay for her mom to go to rehab. Now, Eden is in Orange County living with her dad, going to Regals Saints Academy. She meets a handsome man named Nate while at a bar drowning her anger, and the sparks fly. They share a HOT kiss, and exchange numbers and text back and forth a lot. The next time they are face to face, its to Eden coming in late to Nates classroom!! Eden still wants Nate but he tries to fight it so hard. You guys have to read this! It's freaking amazing! The spicy scenes are crazy HOT! You won't be disappointed in this book! Nate and Eden are meant to be, I loved their story so very much!

I loved this phenomenal sexy story. It’s a thrilling forbidden/taboo romance that hooked me right from the start and I never wanted it to end.

Eden and Nate consumed and enthralled me with their continual push and pull for dominance and their witty banter. There is a lot of drama and angst throughout their story that will have you riveted to your seat and its loaded plenty of panty exploding moments that will keep you squirming until the end.

Eden is a fierce young women who has set her sights on Nate and will not be denied. It’s intense, sexy, steamy and highly explosive.

Highly recommend this story for those that love age-gap and taboo romances – it’s absolutely perfect.

Not gonna lie…this was pretty awesome. I tend to read RH but this one for being MF was just right. There’s not one thing I would have changed. The character chemistry and world building were great. Eden’s character has so much depth. She starts out having to be the parent then morphs to finally being a teenager. Nate, is a scorned man that meets a girl at a bar and come to find out she is off limits in more ways then one. I love the multiple levels of temptation in this book. We get action, drama, suspense and man oh man is the steam hot hot hot. Can’t wait for more from this author. Well done.

What an incredible read

You would never have thought this was a debut novel it totally sucked me in and had me gripped I just couldn’t stop reading.

I love a good forbidden romance and this was just an epic read.

I really enjoyed Nate and Eden’s story. Not wanting to spoil anything for anyone, this was totally packed with heat, suspense and some tear jerking moments.

The characters in this were amazing and definitely some love/hate ones in there.

Can’t wait to see what comes next from Kelly.

No, just no. It took me two chapters to realize that this book wasn't for me.

The FMC (female main character) is the typical “I’m not like other girls” type. She’s beautiful and knows it, this wouldn't be a problem if she didn’t keep hammering home how “different” she is from every other girl. I don’t mind FMCs who are confident in their worth, but this one felt like a caricature. The author tries to soften her by giving her some trauma, but it doesn’t make her more relatable, it just makes her unlikable.

Enter the MMC (male main character), her teacher, who’s also ridiculously good-looking and very aware of it. The two meet at a bar, where FMC is drinking with a fake ID. Classic, right? I get it, a little cliché, but okay. The MMC approaches her, and why? Well, because she's hot, of course. But the real kicker is this line: “Yes, I could have any woman I want in this bar, but when I entered, everyone wanted me, except you. You didn’t even look my way.” Seriously? This just screamed "I’m too special for everyone else" in the worst possible way.

The FMC, still wrapped up in her “I’m not like other girls” persona, tells the MMC that she won’t sleep with him because “you’re wasting your time, I’m not like that.” But then, of course, she can’t help but stare him down the entire time. Mixed signals much?

And in the span of a five-minute conversation, the MMC is already saying, “I can’t stay away from you, we have chemistry, don’t you feel it?” Give me a break. This is all just ridiculous and forced.

Both characters are cliché, unlikeable, and the so-called “chemistry” between them? Yeah, that was totally absent. I just couldn’t push through.

DNF.

AHHHH! It was soo sweet! I loved it, Nate Where can I find a man like you??? This is so unfair. I love a man who takes care of his love ( baby ) so muchhhh so that he doesn't even let her out of his sight, call me obsessed, bt I crave for it. This man was just the one I dream about. He's sweet, hot, sexy, possessive as hell, caring, loving and everything else, basically irrevocably in love with each other, that all consuming Love.
This was my daily dose of Sweet sweet Love juice. And I'm totally drunk on it.

NATE : "But I can tell you now. If I could go back and
change anything. I wouldn't. I would do it all over again. I would be with
you no matter what."

"In this lifetime, and the next and the next and the next…… You get the picture,"

"Because you know what baby? We were written in the
stars, you, and me. We were fate. Destiny. And you can't fight fate. I love you Eden Davenport."
😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥😭

ME WHEN???
ME WHEN???

NATE : "Eden James, you are it
for me. My beginning, my end, my everything. ''

'' I love you more than
anything in the whole universe. Love seems too little of a word to describe
what I feel for you because there are no words that could justify the depth
of my love for you. ''

'' You are my light, my breath, my world. So, will you
make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?"

I
DESERVE
THIS
KIND
OF
LOVE
TOOOO

Forbidden teacher age gap trope, YES PLEASE!! Nate and Eden meet at a bar, she’s 18 but has a fake I.D., and sparks fly. She shuts him down and that never happens to him. We get yet another manho🙄 saying he’s slept through half of Boston in one summer🤮 Why can’t we get a normal H for once? Always gotta be a manho who gets the v heroine…I immediately loved Eden and her personality, she was so strong after everything she had to go through with her parents. I hated her dad and honestly still do even after reading the whole book🤷🏻‍♀️…anyways back to Nate and Eden. He does get her # and they finally agree to a date. We’ll much to both of there surprise when Eden shows up to her first class that Monday morning guess who Mr. teacher is….lots of hot and cold from Nate after that even though he can’t stay away! Eden doesn’t put up with his crap though and I was so happy we finally get a h with a freakin backbone👏🏻Lots of drama with Nates ex fiancé and Eden’s dad who are now together. Don’t worry Nate wants NOTHING to do with the bitch! Once Nate gives in to his feeling, thankfully doesn’t take too long, he is all about Eden!❤️ I really enjoyed this one, lots of drama and twist with his ex and the ex’s brother, but I never doubted Nate’s love for Eden.

Love the forbidden romance aspect; Eden is 18 and Nate is her 28 year old teacher, they met before they knew about them being forbidden. Soul mates won’t be denied! The passion between these two is undeniable. There’s also some drama with Eden’s family and some past grievances that cause some issues for the pair. There was annoying bratty games of jealousy, but I still loved the connection between Nate and Eden. Also, I love that Eden sticks up for herself. The author did a really good job of getting emotion across with her words. There was some stupid decisions at times; mostly things in the last 20 percent, but overall, I really enjoyed the read! Love the multiple epilogues too! Nate and Eden are just too sweet and perfect for each other! Entertaining!

I’ve been on a huge age gap/taboo relationship kick lately so I was looking forward to this read. It was a bit rocky in the beginning for me, but I definitely ended up enjoying it.

At the start of the book, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Nate’s character and the storyline seemed like it was adding in too many subplots. However, Nate grew on me quite quickly and I was very pleasantly surprised with how everything tied together in the end.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book because I had never read any of this author’s work, but it was definitely a good read. I would happily read another book from her in the future.

This book I just like the title suggests a sweet temptation.

We meet Eden who after her dad leaves doesn’t have the best home life. Fast forward years later when Eden is 18 and dad decides to be a dad.

We meet Nate a 28 year old teacher. We who we later find out has some interesting ties to Eden.

This book ends on a HEA with with hard roads to get there but so worth it.

I loved that Eden was a strong female.

The beginning of this book gave me “Pretty Little Liars” feels.

Book was so good. In the middle it got a little slow. I pushed through this and it was so worth it. The ending was so cute and the end of the book was amazing.

The only complaint I have is that the sex scenes were rushed. It was from point A to point B in a paragraph. This book wasn’t kinky. Besides when she had him fuck her in her school uniform. Besides that everything was pretty vanilla.

Still a good Student/Teacher read though!!

Sweet Temptation is the Debut book of the author Kelly Kelsey and I would say that the author did the fabulous job while writing this.
I don’t usually read Teacher/student- Type of Forbidden Romance book but this was an exception and the book was great!

ARC WAS GENEROUSLY PROVIDED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

I'm always a sucker for student/teacher taboo reads, and this one quenched my thirst. Eden had one hell of a backbone and knew what she wanted. Nate, it took him a hot second before he went after what he wanted. Now that twist, I honestly did NOT see that coming. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
