Psychic P.I. Piper Ashwell is hearing bells, and not just because she's getting married to her partner, Detective Mitchell Brennan. Piper's having visions of a murder at her own wedding. Mitchell is convinced she's getting cold feet, and it's messing with her abilities. But when a missing persons case turns up, and the victim is a little too much like the man she saw in her vision, Piper is convinced this is a case only she can solve. But can she prevent a murder and say "I do" at the same time?
Kelly Hashway fully admits to being one of the most accident-prone people on the planet, but that didn’t stop her from jumping out of an airplane at ten thousand feet one Halloween. Maybe it was growing up reading R.L. Stine’s Fear Street books that instilled a love of all things scary and a desire to live in a world filled with supernatural creatures, but she spends her days writing speculative fiction for young adults, middle graders, and young children. Kelly is also USA Today bestselling romance author Ashelyn Drake. When she’s not writing, Kelly works as an editor and also as Mom, which she believes is a job title that deserves to be capitalized.
Finally the moment to tie the knot! While I didn’t like how Mitchell thought Piper was getting cold feet instead of believing in what she was seeing, I did enjoy the mystery quite a lot. All the suspects are terrible people, and I liked how they were all connected. I did guess that It was not very hard to solve, but I enjoyed the ride anyway.
Yay!!! She let her guard down and said yes. As I have said time and time again. I so wish this book series was also a TV series. Kelly is such an awesome writer. I cant wait to check out her other books. But first, I need to read the next one in this series.
